I have a character like this actually.

It's an a.i. that was made by a child prodigy who wanted companionship. So this robot was the first thing she made, and it helps her create all of these wacko ideas she has, but because they actually work (prodigy remember?) The government who facilitated her upbringing takes notice and start having her create things for war.

The robot is her only confidant, so she vents to it about the state of things outside of her room/lab/cell, and how much she hates her superiors, the war, and society. The robot watches when she's taken away to be a guinea pig in an experiment she created, and understands why she loathed "humanity"

Why isn't there a fic of Hobie being someones gay awakening?

Like a dude whose going through life thinking he's straight and then he meets Hobie and they get on so well.

Soon they're like best friends. Hobie teaches him a bunch of new things and ways of thinking and - fuck do I have feelings for this dude? No way! I'm not gay.

I just like staring at his lip ring. He just means so much to me that he's like my better half but also I'm straight but if I weren't I'd be in love with him

And the friend pushes this feeling down, seeing Hobie with the girl groupies, convinced he won't feel the same

But then one of them confesses and they kiss and Hobie helps him come to terms with his sexuality and helps his boyfriend come out the closet

‘Urseus’ the undone calamity;

SHE was supposed to be the one who bring the end to Wrongworld, but since an alien cosmic horror invaded from the outer universe took her job instead, she’s left alone in bewilderment and still doesn’t know what to do

At least few powerful witches and the remains of the world still exist even if devastated, so perhaps she could be of help to rebuild the world whole again… only to destroy it by her own hand.

A new Character approaches

Oxal, 28

Half demon, all witch. Estranged from her family she cursed her infant niece and then moved to the middle of nowhere to become something like a fantasy landlord. Housing harpies, fey creatures, merpeople, and the occasional werewolf.

It wasn't until her brother shipped his teenaged daughter Iris, the niece she cursed, to live with her and teach her how to live like she does.
