i would rather see the information for an event handwritten in sharpie on a paper towel than see another AI generated flyer
mom's minion memes for real justice
i posted these originally like 9 or 10 years ago or something but I can't find them anywhere, so now you get retortured.
Honestly it boils down to reparenting yourself & rewiring your own neuronal pathways & telling yourself a firm “stop” when you notice your mind slipping down negative loopholes & being present in the moment & enjoying being mid task rather than waiting for it to end & not thinking of inertia as your baseline and natural way of living
So tempting to keep embarking on the same self destructive cycle over & over & over again . But at some point you have to put ur foot down w ur own behaviors & be the thing that truly saves u
the origons of Ouija boards are funny if you think about it like they’re part of an another country (China)’s ancient history that was practiced until one emporer decided “You know what this is probably a bad idea” and banned the practice.
then centuries later an old buisnessman comes along and is like “I’m going to take this and market it as a toy to children.”
Which is the exact plot of Yu-Gi-Oh
severely deficient in whatever vitamin makes u a person
Image description: A reaction meme of Ralph Wiggum from The Simpsons sitting at the back of the bus wearing a white N95 respirator from 3M while everyone around coughs, hacks and sneezes. The subtitle reads, "(chuckles) I'm in danger." The onomatopoeia, "*koff*", "*hack*", and "*achoo*, are written in lime green with a digital pen surrounding the character.
A woman not shaving or wearing a dress or wearing makeup or wearing femme clothes or having styled or long hair or caring how she looks or using a masc name or whatever else is actually a neutral thing and not a sign of her being depressed or giving up or being sad or whatever

god i hate how normalized diet culture and shit like bmi and calories are. bmi is based on eugenics. calories are a measurement of how much energy something gives u and not at all of how much weight or fat ull gain. diets have been proven to be harmful and ultimately unhelpful in actually losing weight. fatness has been largely proven to not be inherently unhealthy and doesnt inherently cause health issues.
if anyone has more good links to add on then please do and if anyone knows more on this stuff than me then dont hesitate to correct me!
FOOD IS GOOD. FOOD IS GOOD. FOOD IS GOOD!! if you’re eating, ever, and even/especially if it’s hard, know that i am personally SO SO proud of you
The BMI was invented by Adolphe Quetelet, the 19th century statistician who invented phrenologist anthropometry. He wasn't just a eugenicist, he was one of the founding fathers of racist pseudoscience. Please do not listen to anything he has to say about your body.
“And get this: While epidemiologists use BMI to calculate national obesity rates (nearly 35 percent for adults and 18 percent for kids), the distinctions can be arbitrary. In 1998, the National Institutes of Health lowered the overweight threshold from 27.8 to 25—branding roughly 29 million Americans as fat overnight—to match international guidelines. But critics noted that those guidelines were drafted in part by the International Obesity Task Force, whose two principal funders were companies making weight loss drugs.”

Body mass index is used to sell weight loss drugs, set insurance premiums, and counsel patients. There's just one little problem.
i cannot overstate how good it feels to watch older movies where the actors were still allowed to look kinda weird and not be conventionally attractive. like it is genuinely healing
We do not combat racism because it’s fun. We do not point out misogyny for giggles. We do not speak up about transphobia for laughs. We do not stand against bigotry for our amusement or the opportunity to feel superior to others, it’s because if left unchecked; it will claim lives. Just because they’re commonplace, spread throughout society and casually thrown about by the average person, doesn’t mean it’s beneath the effort of correcting. Indeed, it is because it is commonplace, that it deserves diligence. The best weapons aren’t always the loudest, it’s the ones you don’t perceive as a weapon.
