Current status: My brain has apparently gone on strike. 🙃

I’ve been trying to write my fanfics for almost two weeks now, and every single thing I come up with feels absolutely terrible. I’ve rewritten scenes, deleted pages, questioned every sentence, and yes… there may have been a few dramatic, frustration-fueled meltdowns along the way.

At this point, I’ve accepted that creativity can’t be forced. The more I pressure myself to finish a chapter, the more stubborn my brain becomes.

So, new plan: no more forcing it.

From now on, I’m simply writing whatever pops into my head. A random conversation. One paragraph. A sentence. A tiny moment between characters. No pressure, no expectations.

Maybe those little fragments will eventually find each other and become a chapter. Maybe they’re just stepping stones to getting my creativity back. Either way, it feels a lot healthier than fighting with a blinking cursor for hours.

Don’t worry—I haven’t given up on my stories. My characters are just refusing to cooperate at the moment. I blame Remus. (Or Tonks. Probably both. 😂)

Hopefully, my brain and Google Docs will be on speaking terms again soon.

I’ll never stop shipping Remus and Tonks.

Not because they’re perfect—they’re not. But because they feel so deeply human.

I love the age gap because it’s never been the point of their relationship. Yes, there’s a thirteen-year difference, but what matters is the respect between them, the trust they build, and the way they choose each other. To me, it has never felt inappropriate or unhealthy. It simply shows that love doesn’t always arrive when two people are at the exact same stage in life.

I love that Remus is seen as dangerous by the wizarding world when, in reality, he’s one of the gentlest people in the entire series. He spends so much of his life believing he’s a burden, while Tonks sees the man behind the stigma. She doesn’t fall in love despite him being a werewolf—she falls in love with him. That’s such a powerful message.

I love that they challenge each other. Tonks refuses to let Remus hide forever, and Remus teaches Tonks patience and quiet strength. They’re not about saving each other—they’re about reminding each other that they’re worthy of being loved.

And I’ll always think it’s a shame that Remadora never became as popular as ships like Dramione. I completely understand why people love Dramione, but Remus and Tonks have just as much storytelling potential. Friends to lovers. Age gap. Opposites attract. Hurt/comfort. War. Grief. Found family. Second chances. Raising Teddy. Canon tragedy. Countless AUs. There are so many directions their story can take.

Maybe that’s why I keep coming back to them.

Even after all these years, they’re still my favorite Harry Potter couple, and I don’t think that will ever change. 💙

Tonks’ adrenaline spiked, a hot, metallic surge. She grabbed his arm, her fingers digging into the rough wool of his coat. “Listen to me. There’s a back exit. The window—the alley—the left side. You can make it if you move now.”

“And the others?” Remus asked, his gaze drifting toward the floorboards, toward the people below.

Her throat tightened until it burned. “I can’t—” She swallowed the bitter taste of her own failure. “I can’t stop everything, Remus.”

Something in his expression shifted—a softening, a deep, tragic understanding that was a thousand times worse than anger. He saw the cage she was in.

“You’re still trying to save pieces of a broken world,” he said softly.

“It’s all I can do,” she whispered, her eyes stinging.

“It won’t be enough.”

“I know.”

The shadow of an Auror crossed the doorway. Decision. Now or never. Tonks’ grip tightened on his sleeve, a silent, desperate prayer.

“Go!” she hissed.

Remus didn't move immediately. For one terrible, beautiful second, he looked at her like it was already goodbye.

I finally started reading Birthday Girl and honestly… I’m loving it. 😭❤️

I know this book isn’t for everyone. The trope alone is enough to make some readers uncomfortable, and I completely understand why. The heroine falls for her boyfriend’s father, which is definitely something many people would consider a red flag or an automatic nope.

But that’s the thing about fiction: sometimes I enjoy reading about complicated, messy, morally gray situations that I would never want in real life.

Give me the angst. Give me the tension. Give me the forbidden feelings and the emotional chaos.

Not every book has to be morally perfect for me to enjoy it. Sometimes I just want a story that keeps me hooked, and Birthday Girl is doing exactly that.

So yes, judge me if you must, but I’m having a great time. 😂📚❤️

I wanted to let you all know that I’m finally back.

Over the past few weeks, I took a step away from writing and social media to focus on my daughter and to work through some personal challenges, including trauma recovery. It was a difficult time, but it was also a necessary one, and I’m grateful I gave myself the space to focus on what truly mattered.

Thank you so much to everyone who has been patient, supportive, and understanding during my absence. Your kindness and encouragement mean more to me than you know.

While I may still be easing back into my routine, I’m excited to return to my fanfics and continue the stories that mean so much to me. I have missed writing, and I have missed sharing these stories with all of you.

As a mother, nothing hurts more than knowing that your child has suffered and feeling powerless to protect them. My daughter experienced something that changed our lives forever. Even though there was a report and an investigation, there was not enough evidence for accountability. That reality is something I carry with me every day.

Now the person involved wants to be part of her life again, and the thought alone makes me physically sick. It brings back fear, anger, and memories I have tried so hard to cope with. People who have never lived through a situation like this may not understand, but when your child’s safety and wellbeing are at stake, every instinct in you wants to shield them from further harm.

I am not driven by revenge. I am driven by love for my daughter and by the responsibility to protect her. My only wish is that her voice, her feelings, and her sense of safety are taken seriously. She deserves peace, healing, and the chance to grow up without fear.

This is also one of the reasons I have been so quiet lately. I’ve been carrying a lot behind the scenes, trying to stay strong for my daughter while dealing with emotions that are difficult to put into words. If I seem distant or less active than usual, please know that I am focusing on what matters most right now: protecting my child, supporting her, and finding the strength to get through this chapter of our lives.

Chapter 13: Aftermath

Tonks slipped downstairs, out of the house, and Apparated to Hogsmeade. This was a terrible idea, but drunk ideas usually were. She entered the cemetery and found Remus' grave almost immediately. Much like the Great Hall, it felt like second nature to find him. "You need to stop haunting me." Tonks said, sitting on the cold grass.

I’m reading a book that has me completely captivated. I adore the protagonist, Emily. She’s 24 and hopelessly in love with her best friend’s stepfather. I know it’s morally grey, and I can already hear people screaming “No!” because of the age gap and the family connection.

But here’s the thing: I don’t think people choose who they fall in love with. You can tell yourself in advance that someone is off-limits, inappropriate, or not what you expected. Feelings don’t always listen.

Personally, I’ve never been bothered by larger age gaps in relationships. I’ve had a partner who was 16 years older than me, and I still look back on that relationship with gratitude. My grandmother’s husband was 26 years older than her. My sister’s husband is 18 years older than she is. Because of that, the 13-year age difference between Tonks and Remus never seemed remarkable to me at all—it actually feels rather small compared to relationships I’ve seen around me.

What matters to me is not the number of years between two people, but whether there is respect, equality, trust, and genuine love. A healthy relationship can exist with a large age gap, just as an unhealthy relationship can exist between two people who are exactly the same age.

The one thing that does make me sad when I think about larger age-gap relationships is the increased chance that one partner will outlive the other by many years. That’s a heartbreaking reality. But I also don’t think that fear alone is a reason to walk away from someone who truly feels like your person.

Maybe that’s why stories like this resonate with me. I’m less interested in whether a relationship looks acceptable from the outside and more interested in why these two people fell in love. If the connection feels real, if they bring out the best in each other, then that’s the part that stays with me.

Love isn’t always convenient. Sometimes it’s complicated, unexpected, and messy. But that doesn’t automatically make it wrong.

A little sign of life from me... I am currently professionally, but also privately so busy that I hardly have time to be online or to continue writing my fanfics. I was able to upload an update to Deadlines & Heartbeats on 05/24, but only because the chapter was already written and only had to be edited. The little free time I have right now I usually use to read and rarely watch series. But it's getting a little quieter again and I hope I can write again soon, because I miss it already 😄
