Jealousy
A new scanned photo of John Lennon photographed by Jim Marshall at The Beatles' live concert at Cow Palace, August 31, 1965. Thank you, my friend Anne, for the scan! The new book by Jim Marshall looks amazing.
i love you semicolon. no one look at my 80 word sentence
does that. does that say "ive always dreamed of you."
sir. i swear to god.
does anyone ever think about how mclennon is so disillusioning to your ideas of romance and love as a concept? like. yeah there were these two teen boys growing up in a time when queerness was far off the charts for most people and yet they somehow made sense of the love they had for each other in their own, kind of remarkable way by putting their names together in everything they create in the same sense that married couples create lives together. and they did this when they were like. eighteen. and it was not even just their names, they combined their whole lives, themselves together to the point where they were one and the same for a long, long time. just for everything to end in such a volatile way. and never quite reconciling bc one of them dies tragically, and the other lives with the grief of it all. and despite all that, the love, the devotion, the loyalty : still there. just as strong, if not more. like that's not tragedy, that's real life where shit happens. and its painful and tragic and yet, you love and you live through them.
