Looks like Channing Tatum wants to play Gambit in a future X-Men film.  I’m actually all for this, given he’s got the look and the New Orleans background.  Click the link and you’ll see he can definitely pull off the accent, not to mention it seems that he knows the character really well.  That being said, Taylor Kitsch as Gambit is one of the few things I like in X-Men Origins: Wolverine so I wouldn’t mind seeing him return to the role again either.
