Tell me in my ask what “Dere” type you think my muse is most like/would be!

Tsundere -  refers to a character who treats the one they love poorly. Sometimes this is because they started out hating them and eventually loves them as the series goes on, and sometimes it’s because that’s the only way they know how to react.

Yandere -  refers to a character who starts out nice and sweet but eventually becomes dark and obsessive over the one they love. They become stalkers and use violence on, and possibly even murder, any person who gets close to their love interest — even if they’re too shy to simply speak with that person they have a crush on.

Deredere -  refers to a character who is completely kind, happy, and energetic. No matter what may happen, they quickly revert to their cheerful self. 

Dandere - refers to a character who is often silent and to themselves. It may be due to shyness or just because they’re the quiet type. However, when alone with the person they are attracted to, they usually come out of their shell and become more loving.

Kuudere -  refers to a character who is often cold, blunt, and cynical. They may seem very emotionless on the outside, but on the inside they’re very caring — at least when it comes to the ones they love.

Himedere / Oujidere - refers to a character who wishes to be treated like royalty by the person they love, even if they aren’t royalty in actuality.

Kamidere -  refers to a character with a god complex. They’re highly arrogant and proud, and aren’t afraid to speak their minds and show everyone how right they are.

When Nagayoshi was adressed, he quickly covered his mouth. “Ah, I said that out loud, didn’t I?” He asked, before bowing to the two, somewhat apologetically, but mostly as a greeting.

“As to answer your question… I was a sword forgotten by history.. Being replaced by Kunihiro to such a degree that even my rises and falls became his…” he began his explanation, a sigh escaping his lips. “I thought I’d never see the light of day again, being stored away.. Let alone to be allowed again on the battlefield, with a human body, with such capable and amazing warriors side by side… To say the least, it’s a bit much to take in all of a sudden..” he finished with another sigh. Somehow he was getting nervous.

“I take it, our master mentioned me, since you recognized me? I hope they’re not too disappointed..” Nagayoshi asked, tilting his head. He was sure he was summoned as a mistake, after all, Kunihiro was there already.

Both of the other swords are a little surprised by this speech. They hadn’t been sure what to expect the original Yamanbagiri to be like, but they somehow hadn’t expected him to be as insecure as Kunihiro. 

“Aruji didn’t tell us anything. Word just travel’s fast around here.” Kashuu explained. 

“Huh, I didn’t really think about it that way,” Yamato said at Nagayoshi’s explanation. “I guess you and Yamanbagiri-san are a bit more alike than I thought you’d be.”

“I don’t know if you really should say it like that Yasusada.” Kashuu sighed. 

To Nagayoshi, he says, “I don’t think you should worry about that. Aruji doesn’t care about whether you were forgotten by history or not. We were all summoned here to help them protect history after all. The important thing is that we do our job.”

In his exploration of the citadel, seemed that Nagayoshi had found his way to the training grounds. It wasn’t too hard, hearing the commotion that had ensued there.

The two boys training really left an impression on Nagayoshi. The two even in training seemed to be very focused - at least to Nagayoshi. “My, to be fighting along side such comerades.. What did I do to deserve such an honor?” He said, mayhaps a bit louder than he intended.

They’d heard about the new sword. It was kind of hard not to hear about it, seeing as the original sword that Yamanbagiri was a replica of showing up at the citadel would cause quite a commotion for a lot of reasons. And new arrivals were always a major source of gossip to begin with no matter who they were. Neither one of Okita Souji’s swords were really that worried about it though. It wasn’t something that directly affected them, and they were sure to see him around eventually (likely at the welcome party that was always thrown for new swords). So rather than check things out for themselves just yet, they’d decided to do some training together, as they often did when there were no chores or missions to deal with.

It was still a little surprizing to have their sparring session intruded upon by said new arrival.

“Eh? Nagayoshi-san?” Yamato blinked as he looked up at the other uchi.

“Ah, so you’re the new guy, huh?” Kashuu also turned to look at Nagayoshi. “Thanks for the compliment, but why would you say it like that?”
