Hello~~ me here, I just wanted to give a little info on what I wrote up there for the Japanese animals names. So for names that are 漢字(カタカナ) it means most of the time the animal's name will be written using katakana yet I wanted to show you guys the kanji for it, you might see it somewhere sometime, who knows 🤪, for ones 漢字(ひらがな) it means the kanji is used for the most part, and for ones only written in hiragana it's because they don't directly have a kanji or have multiple, also with ライオン/獅子(しし) they are both lion, yet ライオン is used more frequently, some advice I'd give is that most of the time if there are two words and one is an English borrowed one, then it's probably the want you'll want to use as it's probably the most common used between the two, this applies to both Korean and Japanese. That's all I wanted to say, bai~~~
