I’m gonna be completely honest with you here,, I really miss the pre-season 5/6 Plance graden;;; It was such a calm little corner of the VLD fandom (which, need I remind you, was on fire)

I mean sure I’m happy the garden is expanding but with every new gradener, some quite toxic people had stepped into our graden as well

I miss the days when the only phrase in our Plance dictionary was “Watering my Plance” and we would use it all the time

I miss when the Plance garden was considered the most peaceful corner of the VLD fandom

Currently, there’s a huge controversy. More specifically, the “Plance Nebula” in the season 8 trailer

People think we’re reaching even though Plance “has no chance of becoming canon”

Now, a Plance gardener’s way to respond to this will probably involve explaining the small clues and evidence we found throughout the seasons and if they argue back, we would just leave them alone

But now it’s not like that anymore. Some Plance shippers are JOINING THE ARGUMENTS and sometimes disrespecting other shippers in the process

Please don’t do that :(

To none-gardeners, your ship is also valid! Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.

It’s okay to dislike a ship but it’s NEVER okay to disrespect the shippers

Leave the toxicity out of the graden. Let it be a place where anyone, no matter what they ship, can come to find peace

Let’s restore our graden’s reputation 💚💙

Beautifully said, I have to admit that the recent toxicity that seems to have found its way into the garden is a reason I’ve kind of not been making Plance content as much recently.

The Plance garden felt like a safe place in the fandom where I didn’t have to feel anxious being a part of it, but recently I’ve been seeing gardeners fighting with each other over a cloud!! Calling each other awful things and saying that your not a true gardener if you don’t agree that the cloud is Pidge and Lance, and it’s kinda scary. It’s been giving me unnecessary anxiety, which I really just don’t need in my life. So I’ve been taking a break.

I know we’re better than this, and I know we’re just anxious and snappy because it’s getting down to the line, season 8 is coming, and we will know for sure which ships are set in stone, so I think that’s putting everyone on edge.

But let’s remember that in the garden there is no negativity. Not only with antis bashing us, but also with how we respond. Let’s send cows and pictures of pies instead of saying horrible things and yelling. Also, “weeds” is a term for antis, not other gardeners who are just sharing their own opinions of things that don’t line up with yours.

I know we can get through this and make the garden a safe place again!! So remember! Eat pie, pet a kaltenecker, and happy gardening!! 💕💕

Plance Halloween Antics

Lance: This year, I wanna to do a skit. I'll be a mad scientist, and I'm gonna come out in a blood-stained white lab coat and freaky makeup, and I'm going to turn the whole front yard into my laboratory!

Pidge: Sounds elaborate.

Lance: But you haven't heard the half of it, okay? I'm gonna have a huge electric chair and an operating table and test tubes and wires. And then, I'm gonna drag you out!

Pidge: WHAT?!

Lance: Yeah, so you're strapped in an electric chair, and I'm gonna throw the switch and totally electrocute you! We'll rig something where smoke and sparks shoot out of your nose. And then once you're dead, I'll throw you onto the operating table and I'll cut you open and pull link sausages out of you!

Pidge: ...and that's it?

Lance: Well, I mean, we can take a bow or something, but, yeah, that's it!
