i've been a past dm romantic relationship warrior for years now so there's no way armand de known ommiter of facts stating he's only been stalking daniel for 52 years is going to deter me and make me give up on that theory. especially not when he doesn't mention ever wiping daniels memory since they met, yet says he wants to "give him half his life back", as if he took anything from him by simply watching over him. and sure he could just be agreeing with what daniel said previously, that what he did that week fucked daniel up so bad it screwed up the rest of his life but ☝️ i don't buy that

it's more likely to me that there IS more there, but armand already wasnt planning on admitting to his feelings of love out of nowhere when they previously met, maybe he wasn't even planning on ever saying it at all. and now daniel is actually sticking around and listening to him. why would he risk driving him away now that he's got him by his side again, by telling him anything more than he was simply looking out for him for the past five decades? and ALSO. how would that ever equal harming daniel the most out of all the people armand has hurt???? because he tortured him as a mortal boy for one week in 1973?? there is more there i will not be convinced otherwise yet
