I really get frustrated when my art style subtly changes especially after a long break of not drawing. But I really want to create this comic so I will do my best to let it go and allow myself to grow. A few changes are bound to be part of the creative process, right?

Sketches I did during the Holidays to warm my fingers up featuring the STA crew. I find returning to traditional drawing allows me to create more versatile and fluid lines despite illustrating digitally 24/7. I guess, there are still techniques I’m not familiar with but I’m happy to learn and improve.

I’m not really a chronically online person so I’ve no idea what to do sometimes but hi — I’m Joules! I’m an illustrator working on webcomic about art kids trying to save their class. Will be posting more art, sketches, and panels here soon! ✨

Unfortunately, the argument “He tried to kill her!” could never be used against this ship. Because even if you set aside the enemies to lovers and dark romance trope, baby girl let me tell you right now this is not Jade West, this is Wednesday Addams we’re talking about. Her character would interpret murder attempts as love confessions. You may not like such an immoral preference but that’s the point, the Addamses aren’t supposed to be liked. They’re satirical characters that are embodiments of everything eccentric and unconventional. Tyler’s sadistic nature only magnifies his compatibility with Wednesday. Even better, he’s a monster that needs a master. Gomez basically worships Morticia and would willingly die and k*ll for her. Addams women tend to have their men on a leash, and isn’t it convenient that Tyler is deteriorating desperately in need of one.

Been forever trying to make this comic alive and now that I’m out of school I think I have loads of free time now to actually do something instead of just non stop yapping (eengkk - wrong!) Now I just feel like I’m running out of time.

Anyway, I’m doing this comic about a group of art kids who’s out and about larking doing artsy stuff while trying to save their class from being dissolved. 🥲
