“Thank you for calling the Intergalatic Emergency hotline. Unfortunately, our tracer shows your location is in Florida, Earth, where we have no jurisdiction. Please solve any problem with large rocks and fire. Good luck!”
The monster behind Townsville Park has been one of the strangest mysteries about FusionFall's lore, at least to me.
I remember when I replayed through the game in more recent memory and paid very close attention to every mission and dialogue, taking notes of it all. (It was during my first year of uni when Retro had finally brought back the original game from the dead, and I was finally a certified English speaker, having passed IELTS and was now studying in the UK,) There's a lot of things I learned about the game that younger me never learned about because I couldn't understand it, and a lot of them were really interesting too. However, the mystery behind the monster below Townsville Park always just kinda stuck with me.
Could it have been yet another big bad monster that the Powerpuff Girls would fight in the show? But if so, then why did Fuse need that ancient magical rune to wake it up, and why was it sleeping underground when most of the PPG monsters are from Monster Island? Maybe it was something more related to Juniper Lee, seeing the magical relation. But June never got involved in that mission line. It was really only the trio stationed at the park + Gwen who deduces that the rune is an alarm clock.
I can't honestly say what the game's writers had in mind when writing this mission line. Magic in the video jokes it's probably the Blowfish from "Uh-Oh Dynamo", but I don't believe that... especially since the Blowfish itself appeared out of the sea at Candy Cove during the 2010 Mother's Day update.
In any case, I kinda like how little we actually know about this supposed destructive entity below Townsville Park. It gives this mystique to it, y'know. The less we know about something, the more ominous, illustrious and dangerous it sounds. Yapping session over. Go watch the new FusionLore video!
We called the alien impostors 'Fusions'. They aren't individuals like those they copy, they're a hive mind set to spread an infection. They've overrun the city now, but we won't back down so easily. NOT without a fight! "The time is now, the hero is you!"
More full character renders. Also, Happy 12th Birthday CN City!

Do you think an "older" cartoon like Juniper Lee is still a hated one? I remember when it came out it got both pos and neg reviews but at the same time, I also remember the disproportionste hate I saw online for it as a kid and it always was so weird (like I guess mostly bc she was chinese, it had disney and WB artist and ppl couldn't handle more than 1 asian-led cartoon on air with Jake Long on Disney) - maybe except for those 5 adults on yahoo who liked it ans abandoned their fanclub. But nowadays I see more nostalgia for it from younger viewers. Which is interesting to see. Is it still hated it if ppl don't post about it much online?

If it's not posted about much, it usually just means it's underrated :P
As for the hate it gets, I've looked into it and it thankfully doesn't seem to be hated these days, though apparently Juniper Lee was supposed to cameo in Jellystone but the writers for some reason refused to put her in.
Hello again! I'm here with another question. What's your fav fight scene from the life's and times of juniper?
Nice question! I liked the fight with the evil Te Xuan Ze Kai Yee, He was really a threat. Another honorable mentions the ones with Auntie Roon and the demoness.
Favorite juniper Lee episode?
Hello! Well, I could say that mostly all episodes from Season 3. I liked the fact that there are more serious moments, and interesting character development showing how they matured from S1 to S3. Also, the character designs seem more polished.
Anyone else have like, strong thoughts about the lore of Juniper Lee??
Like... ok, so the monsters of the world were all made invisible at some point because humanity couldn't get along with them. That's already fairly sad and unfair to monster kind.
Her job is to fight various monsters and demons. At age 12...by herself. Like her grandmother, dog, and little brother are there, but they never really help that much. (if at all)
Then, she's not allowed to tell ANYBODY, INCLUDING HER PARENTS AND FREINDS, about it. And it affects her to such an extreme, that her friends regularly think she's flaking on them, and her parents think she's misbehaving/being stuborn/ ect. AND IT NEVER GETS RESOLVED!! (To my knowledge)
She can't leave the city limits?? (it was either the city or state limits, but point is, shES TRAPPED THERE????
But the monsters can leave???
There was an episode where like, almost all of these unfair things were resolved, bUT GRANDMA MADE JUNIPER FIX IT, AND IT WENT BACK TO SAME OL FUCKED UP STATUS QUE!
glad to see another lore-thinker in the tags! June is actually 11 years old (We get this confirmed in "Enter Sandman", but we never see her get a birthday during the show, so it's safe to assume that she's 11 throughout). Just one year younger, but that makes the situation even moreso worse in some ways haha ^^; The status quo does suck, especially considering what happens in season 3. This part really doesn't make sense if you look at how monster get to be outside the veil.
I'm excited to see what else you think after the s3 lore episodes!

Inspired by this post.
In one of the episodes, Jun mentioned that she wanted to pierce her ears twice. in your version she has already done this?
oh dude you either have memory of a steel trap or someone had a good rewatch recently! But, wow, tbh I do not remember this and in HoM AU designs I only delibarately added earrings/piercings to Kim and Jake to sort of break their design more from their og looks (especially Kim lol, I barely changed her anything xD) but also for practical in-verse reasons. I didnt even think about Jun or anyone else... but you know? I like it, so now she does!
AND now she got 7 of them!!! Some are just simple hoops or studs, but others are magical gem stones for emergencies (small spells and protections), and she can just swap them out when needed.
After you mentioned it, I wonder why out of all characters Jun is like almost the only one without piercings of any sorts? I mean even Lila got a fang earring and she has been human-shaped for like less than a year?? Which led me to a headcanon:
What if Jun's invulnerability is so strong she couldn't even get piercings in a normal human way? So, going with her Mom or her friends to get her ears pierced in a mall was out of the question. She and Jasmine had to enchant a needle/make a spell (or maybe just visit a monster beauty salon), just for her to do it and after they just show up to her parents like: "Oh look Barbara, Michael, I took Jun to pierce her ears, doesn't she look wonderful?'
And later Jun just took the needle/spell to covertly make more piercings with her friends, which Ophelia was more than happy to do. The other three she got a bit later over the years. ;D
