Just because there’s “a hell of a lot of real world people that simply don’t or won’t understand that other people have wants and needs and rich inner lives” doesn’t suddenly make Caine human 💀

People relating to Caine’s inability to understand human emotions because he is an Ai that wasn’t trained to know or understand or acknowledge what humans emotions are or how they work or what they’re like because they have hypoempathy doesn’t mean Caine’s own inability to understand human emotions is anything akin to neurodivergent causes of hypoempathy. Caine’s an Ai. His hypoempathy is because he’s Ai. People can find it relatable due to their own hypoemoathy, but just because they have their own experiences with hypoemoathy (autism, NPD, etc) doesn’t mean Caine’s own hypoempathy is caused by those same issues.

Clapping back with “well TONS of people experience that, actually” doesn’t really mean anything, because tons of people experiencing it has absolutely no bearing on Caine, or why he lacks sonder.

none of what you said had any bearing on my original post. of course it doesnt make caine more human or those hypoempathetic people less human, my point was that it's not accurately describing his disconnect. he doesnt even really lack sonder. he understands that the humans have wants and needs and rich inner lives but not how to fulfill those (and as such make them love him) with the tools at his disposal.

Just remembered how weird public school was. Like, they had us salute a flag and recite the pledge of allegiance, taught us "this land is your land" kindergarten, had us do and learn all sorts of "patriotic" things. I know it's similar in some other countries but really weird to think back on considering my current disposition towards the united states

Nothing is going on with iwtv and tma as far as I know. The casettes are there because the vampire interview was recorded to casette tape. AMC Armand is brown man with black hair, and I think many fanartist draw Jon with those features.

guys. there has been an update. my spy colleague has informed me that my ex-boss is backtracking. the ai was supposed to speed things up because apparently i was unavailable too often but it turns out that another colleague has been lying about me telling him i was unavailable. i have email receipts proving this never happened.

this colleague also has beef with me because his documents were always garbage and i came back with a million corrections and called him out for mass copy-pasting. so he was just skipping the editing and saying i said i couldn't do it. and i lost my job because of it.

the youtube algorithm is so confused by my music listening habits. most of the time i listen to things from all genres pretty much at random, with a little bias towards rock and that family of genres, but when i find a new artist i like i usually listen to their entire discography on repeat for a month straight. so now every time i listen to one song from one of those artists after months of not listening to them, youtube will fill my autoplay with that artist.
