Kit thinking no one would ever be able to love him and that he will never be enough is just killing me.

„It was that he couldn’t love me“ just really shows how much Kit was affected by his childhood and the way Johnny treated him (I would like to punch that man in the face).

„I wasn‘t enough, to stop - I wasn‘t enough“ is definitely referring to Ty and how he wasn‘t able to stop him from resuscitating Livvy.

The thing about Kit is that he didn‘t only get rejected by Ty that night at the lake but also got rejected by his father who was never able to show him the love and affection a child needs.
