There was not a moment of doubt when I was on the Big Island of Hawai’i in November, that I would return very soon. A few years ago, in 2015, when I got to visit the Big Island for my birthday on the Kona side, in Holualoa, there was this clear knowing that we would return, together. It was not by chance that most of my time this time around was spent on volcanic grounds and beaches. This was beyond inspirational and rejuvenating and I would so love to share this experience with you. There is something inexplicable and unable to be captured by photo that this land contains.
Hawaii National Volcano Park
The volcanic phenomena seems so comparative to how we also, as humans, awaken. When the earths core becomes so intolerable with heat, magma upwells and creates a volcano. In our process of waking up, there is this desire to no longer live with the fire that is burning our essence of who we truly are. So, in that eruption, we destruct what no longer serves us to create solid ground. What better place than the Big Island to do some of that grounding work together with community, love, earthing, grounding hikes, loving meditation, breath work, delicious nourishment, coffee, volcanoes, waterfalls, black sand beaches and so much fun.
