STAR TREK BEYOND (2016)
Lady Gaga reiterates her stance on the current state of LGBTQIA+ rights with Zane Lowe during The MAYHEM Interview for Apple Music
It's probably far from radical now, and certainly Lady Gaga has never been subtle about this stance [See Born This Way and other songs she later released] but I still remember the first time I heard her respond to the transphobic bullshit she got as a queer performer back when I was a kid. People were constantly trying to get her to "defend" herself against allegations that she was trans and just kept reiterating the same thing: "why should it matter to any of you whether I am or not? Why do you care so badly? We all know that it DOESN'T actually matter if people believe I'm cis or trans, so why are you entertaining this bullshit?"
And she was right! Personally I suspect she suffered A LOT for refusing to throw trans people under the bus like that, and I have no doubt that her career could have been very different had she simply accepted the premise of the question and denied that she was trans. But she didn't. She made the committed and solidarity oriented choice to tell the world "if you would hate me if I was trans, than I want you to hate me. If you need me to be cis to accept me than fuck you specifically."
As a young queer kid who had been bearing the brunt of that bullshit for a long time, it meant the world to me to see her say those things. I will always be grateful for her decision.
so tired of having to cook and trying to figure out wtf to eat, can I just have like. Specialized human dog food or something, like some vegetable and protein biscuits and a special drink so that I only have to think about maybe cooking something once a day instead.

why are all the star trek games based on war and ship command and galactic fighting and war. i want diplomat simulator. i want skyrim for star trek. i wanna talk to a bunch of aliens about their farming rivalry and then go to the planet where everyones an italian mobster. i dont give a shit about upgrading the torpedoes on my battle cruiser to level up and destroy other ships in the New Online MMORPG. i want my entire ship to malfunction because an alien laid an egg in the nacelles and then i want to fix it by raising the alien as my own and then tossing it into space. what’s so hard to understand.
i want to play the equivalent of papa's pizzeria/overcooked but set in quark's bar
