Description post that should have been made a while ago :

This blog counts the amounts of (parentheses), [brackets], and {curly brackets} in posts, specifically using terms such as "opening" ( parenthesis, and "closing" ) parenthesis, along with "sets" [] of each.

Other, rarer types of containment characters will also be counted, but since they are so rare, they aren't mentioned here.

The asks should be active, if there are posts anyone wants to have scanned. Simply drop the link(s) in the askbox, which won't be answered, but will be checked for the post.

Askbox also serves as a place to ask questions about the nature of parentheses, and though I have the official title of parentheses expert, I still have much to learn.

I call them curly brackets because it is more self explanatory and obvious than "braces", but I do not deny that braces is a valid term.
