Hadestown Tour Notes!!

(I saw it at the Fox theatre 5/31/26)

SPOLIER WARNING FOR ANYONE WHO HASN'T SEEN THE SHOW

I don't really know what I'm doing so ...

It was the last day while it was at the Fox and I believe that it was a full house, from what I could see from the balcony there was no empty seats but idk about the boxes and orchestra levels

The energy was great from the audience and the performers!

THE TROMBONE IS SO GOOD IN PERSON!!

I believe that we had Ty Shay as Orpheus (Jose Contreras normally plays him) but I could be wrong it was hard to tell

Who ever Orpheus was had SUCH a pretty voice, the la la la la la la laaaas were SO GOOD

Rudy Foster as Hermes was really funny! But sadly I didn't really get to hear to well most of his lines in the beginning because a lot of people around me arrived late and were being pretty loud :(

Hawa Kamara IS Eurydice she's perfect omgosh!!!

The Fates voices are so prettyyyyyyyyyy

I should probably say now that this was my first time seeing the show in person (i've listen to the whole OBCR + seen videos/recordings of Jack Wolfe)

GO GIVE NAMISA MDKAKOSE BIZANA ALL OF YOUR HYPE!! She's actually so funny and talented it's insane

This whole cast is amazing jeez

One of the workers (I believe Jonice Bernard?) was really funny and all of the workers are so talented!

At the start of Epic III Hades has a really funny line that's like "Oh it's about me" and the actor for Orpheus started laughing along with the crowd. I think that it wasn't on purpose but it was really funny and made me happy

No turntable for Wait For Me (Reprise) :( It was actually really underwhelming and it's one of my favorite songs so i was sad.

Phones kept going off near the end and in the quiet moments ._.

When Orpheus turned around someone in the audience had the most BEAUTFUL GASP and it was great

The sung a song at the end after bows, couldn't really tell what it was bc i think mics were turned off. (i also forgot lol). Orpheus's actor played guitar for it!

It was a AMAZING show and everyone was so talented

The Chappell Roan Situation

To the people who commented rude things all over her videos, made their own videos criticizing her, saying how bad her music sounds, how mean she is, or how ugly she is, I hope you are deeply ashamed of your self.

Reason 1: The soccer player thing was fake

About 2 months ago a well known soccer (football) player called Jorginho posted something calling out Chappell Roan. His reason for posting this was because Chappell's security guard was rude to his daughter (who was a fan of Chappell Roan and was seeing her play later that day). This then caused lots of reactions, even after her apology and explaining her side. After about a month of hate and her becoming the most unfollowed on TikTok for a while, he came out with a new statement. This stated that the guard was not Chappell's and she had no idea what had happened. It is important to note that not a single apology in this and he still defend himself.

Reason 2: She's not ugly

Chappell Roan is not ugly, I would say the opposite of it. Your just rude and mean

Reason 3: Her music is wonderful

She has won Grammys, MTV Video Music Awards, Billboard Music Awards, BRIT Awards, she has over 32 million monthly listeners, and a ton of people love her music. Not to mention her song Hot to Go is played at like every single dance.

No, at the end of the day this is just unacceptable treatment for a human being, and a excuse to call her out because she is a women.
