day 2: the strug
I’m struggling getting back on track.
I was good all day until about 5 pm I found myself, despite only being on day two, already ready to cheat and proceeded to feel super pathetic about it before receiving a phone call from a friend to distract me from my nagging hunger. The weird thing is, like yesterday, it’s not as if I had something in mind I would rather be eating (ahem, pasta) but rather just overwhelmingly resentful of having to be on a diet at all.
Eventually I pulled myself together and ate some plantain chips before making meatballs and a red sauce for dinner, Whole 30 of course.
So we live to fail another day.
Today’s food:
Breakfast: chai tea with almond milk, apple with almond butter
Lunch: Cauliflower fried rice with chicken and an orange
Snack: my forever snack dried pineapple and plantain chips
Dinner: Turkey meatballs, tomato sauce, 1/2 grapefruit
For a grand total of 1235 calories.
