Cringe ass dork that turns up with some squid/eagle hybrid, clearly thriving off the attention and mostly failing to steal anything important. Just a general nuisance in a fancy dress with a parasol. But the wards & protectorate are forced to humour her, lest she get bored and become an s-class villain.

Of course I am a known enemy of any with a cuckold complex but there is also a type who dislikes romantic rivals in games because they don't want to interfere with the "canon" couple and I'm not super fond of this either tbh

it's so easy to think to yourself "i don't have anything to hide, what do i have to worry about?" but having morals and generally doing your best not to hurt anyone will not save you. you can never be good or pure enough for these people. the target is constantly shifting and if they cannot find dirt on you they will change gears and tighten the circle of acceptable behaviors until you fit their new description of a threat. you are fully disposable to them and they are waiting to take the shot. don't confront them, don't give them the opportunity to darvo you. just hit the bricks 👍 the peace will be worth it

something i love about monster hunter is that, to make everything feel somewhat grounded, every monster has to mostly abide by a few rules:

magic is not real. all monster abilities are the result of natural evolutionary adaptations to their environment

magic IS real sometimes and it's fucking scary, possibly eldritch
