Ah yes, manipulative tactics like "rape bad"
It concerns me that at least one person is now considering ārape is never okayā to be brainwashing.
funny that "rape is never ok" is a manipulation tactic but "rape is sometimes ok depending on the rapist's socioeconomic status and how oppressed he is" is supposedly not
Lie to your doctor when you're asking for HRT. Tell them you've had dysphoria for years even if you haven't, tell them you're a trans woman/trans man even if your gender is more complex than that.
Tell them everything they need to know to prescribe HRT and nothing else.
Your case and claims will be picked apart and examined under a microscope, looking for any reason to say no. So tell them exactly what they need to hear to say yes.
Whenever someone does this and gets seriously ill as a result of expected side-effects, you lot are champing at the bit to crucify them, deny their identity (you were never ackshully twans), shame them, ban them from trans-friendly subreddits, kick them off your discords, quash all questioning and conversation, delete any reflective posts about not being happy with surgery results and ongoing care, mock them, dox them, harass them, silence them, and hold them up as these grand failures ~for not doing their research~. Of course, this is pretty standard retaliation to anyone who tries to leave a cult, but I digress.
I WANT A GIRLFRIEND
STOP ADDING āOR A BOYFRIENDā THIS IS A LESBIAN ONLY EVENT
Before responding, please visit our F.A.Q.
What tipped us off
The negative use ofĀ āboyfriendā in this context matched a common pattern among radical feminists to posit attraction to men, as well as men in general, as deeply inferior.
The presentation of attraction to women, including queer attraction to women, as being something experienced only by lesbians, and not by, for example, bisexual women was also a red flag.
What proved the concern was valid
+Ā Delegitimizes the identities of a variety of genders and sexualities.
+Ā Delegitimizes the identities of other lesbians who donāt meet arbitrary standards.Ā
+ Mocks people for using self degrading humour, on the grounds that their sexuality is unacceptable.
+ Believes that people should not create new language to describe phenomena they experience.
+Ā Engages with other radical feministĀ dogwhistling posts*.
+ Believes that women in relationships with other women who do not identify as lesbians do not and cannot describe the harassment and oppression they face as lesbophobia.
+ Denies the possibility that people for whom performing a high standard of femininity is necessary or preferable may experience specific forms of backlash for doing so, a belief which disproportionately targets sex workers and transfeminine people.
+ Claims that- solely on the basis of sexual identity- some people tend to be unusually homophobic, and that creating their own language to describe their experiences is an act of homophobia when done by these people.Ā
+ Mocks people who attempt to establish boundaries and protect themselves by others, as well as blames violence faced by people on victims rather than the violators.
+ Rejects and mocks people who have relationships they personally are not comfortable with, as well as rejecting the centuries long history of association between those people and queer society.
+ Claims that queer organizations should not be allowed or encouraged to focus on the subjects chosen by the members of that organization, but should instead center on other topics.
+ Alleges child molestation against fictional characters; these characters are legally and sexually adults, in addition to not actually being real.
In what ways are these actions concerning
The policing of other peopleās language stops people from having discussions about their experiences or begin to address community problems directly. This prohibits building strong communities and enables exploitative and abusive people to exert control over queer spaces. It exacerbates existing divisions and makes queer spaces unsafe for a large number of people.
Accusing queer people, especially queer men, of child molestation when they are engaging in consensual, noncriminal relationships directly contributes to the death, legal limitation, and physical abuse of queer people. In modern times, it is especially popular a tactic among extreme right wing authoritarians who seek the extinction of queer people as a whole.Ā
Denying people the ability to make fun of themselves and their own experiences is an abusive tactic that prevents people from understanding trauma and combatting oppression in their own lives.
Policing the gender expression of others is self-evidently transphobic, as well as sexist.
Additional notes:
*Although engaging with a dogwhistleĀ is not necessarily evidence of radical feminist thoughts and beliefs, in the context of other posts and statements, it is an additional concern.
As always, the OP may not be a true and complete radical feminist, with all the political beliefs that entails. However, this post is presented in such a way as to make trans people, sex workers, and others often targetted by radical feminist and itās descendant movements feel unsafe. Followup research revealed that that discomfort was warranted.

I have to vent. Recently broke up with a boyfriend of almost 3 years, in a relationship where I did all the work. I cleaned for him, I tried to solve our problems. I did everything. Looking back on it, I mourn the effort I wasted much more than I mourn the loss of him. But today something hit me right in the face and it's the fact that it was either him or nobody. I don't have a support network. I hate my parents. I don't have irl friends. And it's back to my loneliness. Back to being aware of the fact that this guy I was dating was the best. I loved him, he's the best I'll probably ever get, and yet he did me like this. He treated me like a servant. A mother, and a sex doll. I'm aware this isn't an exclusive experience whatsoever, in fact it seems like it happens to most women, and I did not exactly think it would go differently with me, I guess I just wondered if I could bear it. And I can't.
I posted this in a reblog but I wanted it to be its own post.
āWhat is a woman?ā
āAnyone who identifies as one.ā
āWhat does it mean to identify as a woman?ā
āIt means you feel like a woman.ā
āWhat does being a woman feel like?ā
āA woman.ā
āWhat is a woman?ā
As soon as āwomanā becomes a concept, women become theoretical. We become ideas, philosophies, ideals you can achieve through performing femininity, regardless of your birth sex. And suddenly real, quantifiable, measurable things like violence against women become abstract ideas that are no longer physical and tangible. Thatās when women suffer. Thatās when women die. Thatās when things donāt change for women because the whole world believes women themselves arenāt actually real things, just feelings. When female becomes a feeling, women cease to matter. Women cease to exist.
I was always jealous of boys. I knew from a young age they had something I didn't. Different toys, different hobbies, different roles. My dad made it no secret that he wanted a boy. Someone he could teach to play football and game with. It hurt me that he never thought I could be that person. I thought I must've been born wrong somehow, that I was a mistake, that I should've been different.
I remember when I first discovered that you could change your gender, and you could do it just by deciding that you were something else and maybe taking some medicine. It would change me, but I never wanted to be myself anyway, so maybe this would be better. I was on board. I changed my name, cut my hair, bound my breasts. I never wanted to be a girl anyway. I wouldn't miss it. I found a doctor that would prescribe me testosterone and started looking into a double mastectomy. I felt like I finally knew why I was so broken, and this would fix me.
I panicked a week in and cancelled the whole thing. People were confused. They had supported me, for the most part, and now they thought I was lying. They thought I was backing out because I was scared. And I was scared, because I just wasn't sure this was the answer I was looking for. I just wanted to time to decide if I was sure. But the gears were already turning. People had decided I was a boy now from the instant I said so. But I was unwell. Very unwell. And I had always been, and people tried to convince me that transition would fix that. It would cure me.
I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder two months ago. After years of psych visits and evaluations and hospitalizations, years of people ignoring and downplaying my symptoms. I just turned 30. It's likely that I have been suffering from this disorder for the last 15 or so years without the proper assistance. This is how long it took for a multitude of doctors to find out what was wrong with me.
And do you what really scares me? The fact that it took this long to diagnose me with a lifelong medical condition, yet when I expressed that I MIGHT be trans, I was IMMEDIATELY told that I needed to make major medical changes. I almost signed myself up for a lifetime of the wrong treatment because people were so concerned about validating my identity that they didn't even stop to ask if I was sure.
I don't know which is worse: not being diagnosed with bipolar for 15 year, or being diagnosed as trans inside of a week. I think both are examples of the failure of the mental health system. Where is the balance? How are women supposed to lead healthy lives when they're either ignored for years or immediately prescribed permanent life-altering treatment that might not be right for them?
I want to understand and be accepting of people. I want the people around me to feel heard and loved. I just can't help wondering how many girls like me thought they might be boys because everything in their life just sucks, and they desperately need a change. I see doctors from gender clinics coming out and saying that the majority of their patients are women with serious mental health issues and trauma. And I just think, that could've so easily been me.
My entire life has been defined by my existence as a girl and a woman. And I always hated that. But it's not because I was never meant to be a female; it's not because I was born wrong. It's because being a female in a patriarchal society is utter fucking shit. And I owe it to every girl like me to help fix that.

why is headless women art bad? i can see why it's seen as objectifying but why is it such a big deal to make art out of the female form? (sorry if i sound agressive this is a genuine question)
Hi anon! You certainly donāt sound aggressive - Iām actually very grateful for the opportunity to collate my current thoughts in one place, so thank you for the prompt. Iām going to try my hardest to keep this short.
For any women who havenāt seen posts on this topic previously, some examples of the āheadless women artā trend Iāve been talking about for a while now are below. Theyāre often missing their limbs, at various points of amputation, as well as all or part of their heads (if she has her eyes, I generally donāt count it). Sometimes their heads have been āreplacedā with other objects, typically plants or mushrooms, though I wouldnāt count a woman with an animal or birdās head. Theyāre often naked.
So, per Anonās question, why is it a ābig dealā?
I mean, really, itās not. Itās an absolutely minuscule deal - itās as dwarfed by the issues of the sex industry, femicide, and systemic sex inequality, as we are by the Sun. And yet, much as our bodies are made of particles formed in dying stars, I see elements of the large within the small⦠ok, Iām not getting poetic.
Itās not a big deal, and I donāt necessarily think itās wholly terrible either, which is why in my analysis posts on the topic I try to ask questions more than criticise, and criticise gently when I do so. What it comes down to is that I spotted a pattern, and wanted to acknowledge that pattern, think about it, and ask other women for their thoughts on it.
With that said, there are certain things that I question particularly, and have seen other women question, which Iāll list:
Remove her legs and she canāt run, remove her arms and she canāt fight, remove her mouth and she canāt shout, and remove her eyes and she canāt look back at you. You totally disempower her when you remove almost every body part capable of action.
By removing her head you also remove her brain (her personality and internal identity), and her face (her visible external identity). By anonymising her you strip her of her individuality, and depict all female people as a result - so what message are you sending about all female people with your depiction of us, naked and dismembered?
A (living) womanās neutral existence requires her to have her head. By removing it, you are making an active choice to step away from the neutral (and itās on you to defend that choice), and you are also by necessity depicting a dead woman. You ask about āart out of the female formā - the living female form has a head. Why remove it?
The simplest test of whether something might be sexist, is to see whether it applies to men and women equally. Are (straight) men decorating their homes with ābitsā of male bodies? Do men in general feel conscious enough of, yet alienated enough from, the appearance of their bodies that they seek out their representation, sans heads, to reflect back at them? Why not, if women are? Would it be strange if they did?
As a follow up, since many of these pieces are made by women (often straight women), are (straight) men often focusing their artistic output on depicting ābitsā of male bodies? Do men regularly choose to create art intended to depict the ābeautyā of the male form? If not, why not?
You mention objectification - what links are there between objectification and violence? Could self-objectification be used to normalise violence against the self, or even excuse it? What about violence against others who are like the self (ie violence against other women)?
As I say, Iām not necessarily saying this artistic trend is exclusively a bad one, or that people/women in particular shouldnāt be decorating their homes however they please. Itās just something Iāve noted and found interesting, and like many apparently free choices, I think feminist women have a responsibility to interrogate their own and othersā motivations.
This is a hasty overview, and Iāve probably missed things - Iāll reblog with additions if I think of any, but you can also see my previous posts on this topic, and other womenās contributions, under my āHeadless Women Artā tag. Thanks again for the question!
The key counter argument Iāve encountered is that women create Headless Women Art to make the piece easier to identify with - that goes particularly for the diverse variations Iāve seen, with different body shapes and sizes, scars, and stretchmarks. The idea being anonymising her by chopping off her head makes it easier to imagine your own head there?
Which if Iām honest⦠doesnāt hold much weight with me. I donāt think itās necessary for me to chop someoneās head off in order for me to imagine her body was mine, be it for good reasons or bad, and I donāt think thatās necessarily a good thing to do either.
Just to drive point 3 home - women have heads. If someone, or in fact many someones, chooses to depict women without their heads, that is a step away from reality, away from the neutral, and it is that step which needs to be reasoned and defended, not the neutral. Which is why Iām probably going to start asking women who create this sort of work why they do so.
Why is it that women are expected to identify more easily with headless and often limbless torsos, these corpselike effigies, while men identify just fine with depictions of whole living people?
^^ but that's the upshot. All the parts removed are parts that look pretty similar between men and women. Our arms, legs, hands, feet, heads, even our faces are extremely similar if you take away gender-choices like long hair, shaving, makeup.
Women are culturally believed to be the "other" which compliments men-as-default, which is why we have internalized the idea that this art even represents "the female form". We act like women are just men with hips and breasts globbed on.
The real female form is a non-mutilated, non-beheaded human.
So true
seriously like weāre supposed to be sisters š

Just left a relationship pretty much like that. It sucks. Literally drains the life out of you.
cristiano ronaldo anally raped a woman who was curled up in a ball, covering her vagina with her hands and saying no, and then paid her $375,000 to keep quiet
he has literally admitted to it
I remember when this happened,no one believed her, she was getting death and rape threats from half of Portugal, at the time he was up there with David Beckham for sexiest man alive. People could not fathom the idea that a woman would say no to a rich, hot celebrity.
Thatās why you will never see we raving about or posting pictures of male celebrities or instagram models. I refuse to gas any man up at all. Their entitlement and egos makes them aggressive and fool them into thinking they can take whatever they want.
When a reddit post painting this prick as wholesome got popular and people informed others in the comments about how he anally raped a woman, the moids in the comments went through the whole narcissistās prayer in defense of this guy that they didnāt even know. Eventually, when all of their arguments got shot down because the man literally said in his own words that he raped her, they straight up admitted that in the end, they didnāt care that he raped a woman and they would continue stanning him and cheering him on.
Male solidarity is ridiculously strong, and disgusting.
