I apologise for the outer wilds posting (it will continue) but it is hilarious to me how suspicious the way people talk about this game is. Everyone is all 'it's amazing. Best game I've ever played. A masterpiece, truly. Tell you anything about it? No absolutely not. That would ruin it. You have to trust me that this game will change your life. How? Oh, you know. Talk about the story? *gasp* but spoilers! No, no, you *must* play this. But you cannot know any information beyond the title, good luck out there." Sounds like a deeply shady scheme, and yet! In that context, it is fair.

So I started playing outer wilds and once I got the hang of it I started to really love it, but. This game. It taps into my deepest, most visceral phobias. And I am so uncomfortable even though I find the story compelling and want to learn more.

Will never forgive the count of monte Cristo (2024) for actually being good and making me, a certified Pierre Niney hater, have to admit the man is in fact good at his job.

Also won't forgive them for the Fernand and Mercedes are already nobility thing, that took away the whole point of everyone rising dramatically in social status while Edmond rotted in jail for 15 years, but that's beside the point.
