From the Museum of Seminole County History’s facebook page, a preview for an upcoming exhibition:

In the waning days of a global pandemic, the citizens of the United States grapple at the ballot box. The issues:
A climate of national protest
Race relations and race riots
Vigilantism, terrorism, and law enforcement abuse
Wealth disparity and income inequality
Global interventionism
Out-of-control military spending
A recovering recession economy
Accusations of rampant voter fraud and the disenfranchisement of minority voters
The Republican slogan “America First” competes with a more international Democratic globalist vision.
The Republicans pledge a return to normal in the face of this chaos. The Democrats seek to implement a new, more progressive normal.
This is the Election of 1920.
History doesn’t exactly repeat.
It’s more like a helix: going in circles, while escalating.
Mostly just we're learning who always thought the wrong side of history was the right one.
