6.1 Archon quest spoilers

The new Dain (and sinners) lore kills me. Cause like, when the sinners were first introduced as a concept, he basically implied they were a team. A squad planning to overthrow the despot king and save Khaenri'ah. That they were then corrupted and failed.

But this quest reveals that most of them barely knew each other. They all just knew Dain! They didn't even come to fight for noble reasons, Dain wanted to save his brother, and they went along with it (we technically learned this via the x box wings, but still).

We have Surtalogi, Dain's childhood friend/knight training buddy, who only knew Dain and Ved (the latter just being his best friend's brother). Rerir, also just Dain's friend, barely knows Vedrfolnir, has not met any of the others.

We have a little less on all the Rhine and Hroptatyr relationships, but they also seem to barely know any of the others, other than Dain (and maybe Ved? Probably, but ambiguous).

The great scary sinners of Khaenri'ah, are just a bunch of Dainsleif's friends who let him drag them out in the middle of the night and convince to commit treason with him 😭.

Maybe Rhine and Hroptatyr are more Vedrfolnir's friends, and thats why they ended up agreeing to save him. But honestly, how they were acting didn't give that vibe. It genuinely seems they only ended up agreeing because it was Dain asking. I'd like to imagine after the scene cut (before the sudden cut to them committing treason after Hroptatyr was like, I dont want to though) Dain gave them puppy eyes until they cracked.

But yeah, it's just hilarious to me that Dain casually had some of the most powerful people in Khaenri'ah in his pocket, who would follow him to commit treason with a bunch of other people they only know via their fame (or vaguely through Dain and maybe Ved). They just trust Dain that much. Wild revelation. Dain casually the fulcrum of the Sinners.

Thinking about technically in the whole of khaenriah capitano was just a average guy

Yes, he had the heart thing. but there’s a guy who can see the future and a girl who can use chemicals to make life. So he’s not that special in that case

If you asked anyone whose thrain was they would probably respond with “who?”

Which makes him making out of there a little bit funnier

King irmin didn’t make it past the catalysm yet random soldier #546 did

Literally all that’s left is the world’s best scientists, the leader of the military, the most important politicians, and dave from accounting.

And guess what? Dave is now a celebrity

Pierro, Rhinedottir, and Dainslief all have their haters but not capitano.

Capitano is respected by everyone who knows him. His troops and other random soldiers, his coworkers who hate each other like him, and his enemies/rivals can’t help but like him.

He’s literally got multiple fanboys who will sing his endless praises.

Capitano went from background character to main character

Although he ended up with the worst of the curse he didn’t loss the most

Rerir lost his body and heart, vedrfolnir is still blind and now rock, Dainslief lose everything and everyone, and god knows where hroptatyr is.

He also gained the most after the cataclysm

Rhinedottir may have become god, pierro might direct the harbingers, surtalogi potentially is all powerful

But capitano fought ronova, won, free himself and everyone he took with him from that suffering, and then had entire nations mourn him.

The most well known, respected, loved, accomplished, and most successful in all of khaenriah now is just some random guy that barley anyone knew the name of

Seeing how khaenriah is based a lot of off Norse mythology and Scandinavian cultures I now have the idea that khaenriah men focus a lot of self grooming

They all smelled incredible and took great time to get ready in the morning.

They picked out their brightly colored outfit and shiniest jewelry in the morning. They have separate combs to do different jobs, one for the beard, one for combing, one for brushing, and one for styling.

Kaeya honors this heritage by wearing a shit ton rings and making diluc late because he had to brush his again one more time.

Hair bleaching super common to the point Dainsleif was asked multiple times what he was using to bleach his hair because it looked so good. Despite being a ten out of ten capitano still thinks he looks below average because he wasn’t born with naturally blonde hair.

Like every single one of them has a 10 step (minimum) hair care routine.

The routine INCREASED after the catalysm because everything but their hair was ruined by it (sun screen isn’t going to fix the rot but a hair mask might help the split ends)

Yes despite rerir being a literal rotting corpse he has left time to comb his luscious hair.

Capitano troop is known as the most well groomed one in the fatui due to capitano influence.

All while rhiendottir looked like she rolled out of bed in the morning and she couldn’t care less

Kaeya's potential 5-star version having a Jackdaw constellation -> Jackdaw in reference to "The Bird in Borrowed Feathers" -> Kaeya being pubicly exposed and shamed in Mondstadt after the discovery just like in said story -> Khaenri'ah rejecting him because Kaeya wanted to team up with Mondstadt -> Jackdaw birds being closely related to crows and ravens -> Odin (from IRL mythology to clarify.
