"As long as I pay the right price... Creating that loophole shouldn't be too hard, right?"
You can be talking to someone and she'll be like, "Oh I made a silly mistake. Women don't deserve voting rights teehee." And you'll be like, "What." And she'll be like, "Oh I'm sorry! That must sound so bad out of context. No it's this Tiktok meme where, if you're a girl and you do something dumb, you say 'Women don't deserve voting rights teehee.'"
And you'll be like, "That sounds bad." And she'll be like, "No no. It's totally not that bad. It's just a meme. Men say it too. Like if a man does something silly he'll be like, 'I am like those women who do not deserve to vote.'" And you'll be like, "Does that make it better?" And she'll be like, "Well there was one guy who tried to make 'Men shouldn't vote' a popular meme. But it never caught on and also he got yelled at a lot."
And then you drop it there because like, you're harshing the vibe.
God this makes me think of this screenshot:
"it minimizes you as a person" really wraps up my entire discomfort with the whole "oh but i'm just a girl" thing when used in most situations.

This opening completely altered my brain chemistry as a kid and I've never been the same since.

I love jaywalking with another pedestrian lol we’re unionized
i dont want a childproofed internet i am almost 30 fucking years old. give your kid an internet safety talk and stop making it the problem of every adult on the planet every time some cryptkeeper legislator gets the brilliant idea (via conservative lobbying) to push through yet another bill gutting our access to free expression + increasing the powers of the surveillance state + lining the pockets of Big Data in the name of Protecting The Kids they wont even feed. this shit is exhausting i can’t believe we’re going to be fighting about it for the rest of my life
gothic horror is when there's a location. cosmic horror is when there's an unauthorized fucking Thing. folk horror is when you're outside.

The hand that holds the light... Oh, to be held by such a hand.

[Image Description: A digital drawing of Wicander and Tyranny from Critical Role. They are striking a ballet pose, where Wick cradles Tyranny's head while she kicks up her leg so that her skirts are all behind Wick. They look at each other while doing so. They are wearing they're typical outfit, except Wick's earring is a peacock feather and his pants are pleated in a Thai inspired style. There is a halo of light behind Tyranny's head, so Wick is bold holding Tyranny and the source of the beautiful light. END ID]
