Already rambled about her before so here's even more(probably repeating) things with way less structure:
Ok so, I've said this before. But Volleyball is a team sport. You can't just be Good At Volleyball by being alone. Nuh uh. I mean you COULD, but if you have fans then it means tournaments and tournaments - means you need teammates.
It is entirely possible that Merida was like, this close to snapping all of their necks, but I like to imagine she had somewhat friends. Acquaintances more likely but that's still like. People she played with and didn't kill. And that counts for something!
It really does play into the "Merida is absolutely the closest to humans aside from Nara in n1 time period" thing I have, because I mean... My brain is telling me she has to be to some extent. It's volleyball. There's like a whole game about making relationships while you volleyball together.
I digress. Also I like to imagine that she can just. Surf on that board better than professional surfers? Even without all the Water Controlling Powers. She's just good at that but nah she likes Volleyball More.
Also her power doesn't involve just ice in n2 it's just that Souls doesn't know how to do anything and it was the easiest (cold location) and they never learned otherwise. They definitely WILL.
... Also it's so weird that her shrine spot is in the middle of nowhere. I love the "she sunk it" headcanon it's canon to me. She sunk that thing out of spite. Fight her.
Also maybe Omnicron can best her in water, but otherwise NOBODY can stand close to her power in her domain. Ulzar thought she's the weakest because he did drag her arse out of the water, that was like step 1,
Uh what else can I say without repeating.. Oh yeah! Her nightmares are just her having fans playing volleyball. Her siblings... Don't quite have that (Fenrir it's hard to tell but he still has authority if nothing else, Nadine even harder, but Grunda fights Remus and Zetta is.. Zetta..) . I'm telling you guys the closest-
(Just wanna know, how ok are you with others making ocs based of (or same species) as Soul and Audience?)
(ooc: DO IT RIGHT NEOOWWWWW THAT'S SO EPIC?!!?!!?!
oh oh since were on this topic. the head shape silhouette thing isn't confined to the flower-ish one that Audience and Soul have, they just both have it cause they're related
Also, the colors of the outlines/inside colors matter. dark inside+ bright outline = of divine nature, bright inside + dark outline = of mortal nature. You can see this with Soul and her mortal vessel)
it’s about the context. if a kid feels bad about doing something, they are unlikely to do it again unless they feel like they have to or if they don’t know another way to get it done. children are just small humans; they don’t like feeling bad/guilty/etc. any more than anyone else does. so if a kid comes forward and says ‘I did this bad thing and I feel bad about it’ and you scold them for doing that thing that they already feel bad about, then you are effectively just scolding them for coming forward. if the kid already feels bad, they don’t need an adult to tell them they should feel bad. in reality, the kid was probably coming forward about it because they wanted the adult to explain how to make it right, or how to do it properly.
Telling the kid that it is very brave of them to come forward and admit that they did something wrong.
Having a conversation to find out why they did the bad thing. Sometimes there’s an underlying reason that needs to be addressed like ‘I’m worried the other kids think I’m not cool enough so I broke a rule’ or ‘I was mad at my sister because she called me fat so I broke her toy’, etc. These conversations might be more important than the bad thing.
Telling the kid that we all make bad decisions sometimes and while we should try not to do that again, making a bad decision doesn’t mean we’re bad forever.
Telling the kid that the best way to feel less bad about it is to try to make things right. Did they secretly take mom’s piece of cake? Maybe we can go bake a new piece of cake together and give it to mom. (The point here is not to make the kid really produce something of equal value to what they stole/broke/etc. A child often can not do that. The point is to practice what fixing the damage you have done looks like).
Finishing the conversation with supportive words and maybe a hug, depending on the child and your relationship to that child. Above all the goal is making sure the child leaves the conversation feeling happy that they chose to come forward and committed to doing so again if they mess up in the future.
She's supposed to be the pippis that Tenna kept, but... you know... hatched.
Keeps her eyes closed like most addisons, opening them when "showing" stronger emotions.
On another note. She's much more reserved then either of her parents. I imagine her going "Wow. It hurts when dad gets angry. Therefore. Anger = bad. I should never get angry and shout at people like him. In fact. I should show any bad emotions to others. Ever." Very healthy mentality dear.
Of course I'm giving her dady issues.
Some random factoids, I guess:
Tenna calls her Lil Pip
She has three pippins friends that sometimes dresses as aphids (cause she's an ant)
She has her own little home made show/YouTube channel that Tenna doesn't know about (video can be anything from covers on songs she likes to 3 hour long ramblings about bugs)
Has serious stage fright when on the big scene
She works behind the scenes alongside the pippinses, shuttahs, zappers and shadowguys
She's quite the productive employee, being a worker ant and all
Does not know Spamton's name (only heard him be referred to as "Mailman" by Tenna)
She's slowly growing more and more resentful towards her father whom although they work in the same studio, barely ever talk to her outside of business interactions
