Loot and monsters alike can be found deep in a cave system near the sea. Some of these levels hint at the fact that this entire cave system used to be underwater. The deepest layer houses the most impressive foes and the most prized treasure. However this layer is filled completely with one giant ooze monster, engulfing everything in this level.
The slimy monster deals moderate damage to those traveling through it. It might suddenly create a current within itself to send someone down another path or to fling something at a person. Luckily the ooze monster is very weak to all kinds of heat including fire, lightning and radiant damage. Squares of the map can be freed by melting the ooze monster away. But beware: These caves used to be underwater and now this ooze monster is the only thing keeping the water out. Melt the monster away too much and the water might flood back in.
