Let's Talk About That Quickly: The Possible De-legalisation of Pornography.
David Cameron is losing it here.
He wants to make porn "illegal"
How is this going to WORK?!
The excuses, which are valid, they are using right now are that...
"It's making young teens see wo/men as sex objects"
"It increases the chance of a Male to consider rape, no matter the age"
"Teaches women to sexualise themselves for men"
Which are all completely valid reasons. but without sounding crude and to be EXTREMELY blunt. Before the existence of The Internet, Magazine, Tabloids etc, a world before the Media and it's mediums wasn't this all already happening to a GREATER SCALE than today? think about it. the social acceptance of prostitution and brothels, teaching men to treat women differently (sex objects), incest in the Royal family!
Compare 21st Century Porn to 14-17th Century Brothels.
Porn is a lot harder to access than you think, the problem is the parents, they don't know how to use a computer WELL enough so that is their fault.
Brothels you can walk in and out of without even knowing. CHILDREN PLAYED in brothels, brothels were socially accepted, you could look at women without feeling any guilt, Spouse or no Spouse. Now you're telling me I cannot even LOOK at women through an LCD, but when I DO look at women in real life I get accused for Sexual harassment. Like REALLY what the hell.
Porn industry isn't the problem.
If it's there someone will find it that's a given of the internet
The problem is that 1) You are taking my rights to view something in favour someones else disapproval .
2) Parents of this current generation are the most uneducated computers users.
My solution is NOT to enforce a country wide block, no but to encourage and educate parents on the internet and computers so that they can solve their own problems; in 30 years time this will NOT even be a discussion worth speaking about
People rely on the government so much that they have forgotten the power and intelligence of human beings.
