have you ever thought maybe we just overcomplicate archeological finds because we want them to have deeper meaning but like

maybe all art or games were way back in the day was stacking rocks or some shit, cause it was all they had, and that’s why stonehenge or whatever is there

anyways i was just reading about the stone spheres of costa rica and basically no one can agree on a good reason for why these ancient people made perfect stone spheres all the time but i think if no games had really been invented yet then smacking rocks together to make the most perfect ball sounds kinda fun and that’s the most simple answer
