I once attempted to kill the entire rest of the party because the rogue had tormented and attempted to murder my character and they supported the rogue.

I’ve told this story before but it’s relevant so what the hell

We were attacked by dopplegangers, they turned into copies of each of us and laid down next to us while we slept and we woke up next to them. We had to fight them one on one, cuz no one else could tell who the real one was.

Anyway we ended up with one left and he surrendered. We interrogated him and found some info we needed. The paladin, played by my then husband, had offered to let him go if he gave us the info. But my rogue was not about that life. She was chaotic neutral and wanted retribution.

I said “my character would kill them”

Husband said “if you do that, my character would kill yours.”

And that’s exactly what happened. I had to make a new character, but I’m still very proud of sticking to my character.

Killed multiple people and set a library on fire because she wanted to steal a book and wasn’t aware that people would try to stop her.

She panicked, it was hilarious.

Threatened to put an arrow in the party’s bard bc she was sympathising with a demon. Also bears mentioning that this was in front of the bard’s older brother who happened to be our Paladin and a big ass dragonborn who could and would snap her in half if she’d gone through with it

(I keep talking about this one campaign because it was the most interesting one I’ve probably ever done)

Had to hold closed a zeppelin’s bulkhead with my bare hands to stop zombie elves from killing everyone

Single-handedly started The Civil War because orcs were keeping elves as slaves (and of course my half-elf character didn’t approve of that)

Fought my way into and then back out of a psych ward that was using electrotherapy on the team’s schizophrenic fighter to rescue him

Hijacked the Red October and had to shut down a nuke seconds before it launched

Slayed dragons with an enchanted sniper rifle for a while to support our lazy brawler, crippled mage, and crazy fighter.

Blew up an entire city block because there were Dwarf Nazis inhabiting an apartment complex

Shot an F16 fighter pilot in the cockpit while they were flying at us head on to save our airship

And, last but not least, got the entire group kidnapped, interrogated, and nearly publicly executed because my character, to describe it the way our GM did, “gave all three of the king’s daughters the ol’ hokey pokey.”

And that was all in one game with one character. Silence, the mute half-elf sniper.
