Kids be so damn cute and innocent like how
Awwww
This story was different actually??? And even better??? The girl, Brooklyn Andracke, used to wave at the truck every thursday and the trashman waved her back. It was a very important to her to do it every week. It was HER birthday, and she decided that she wanted to share her birthday cake with the trashman. She also wanted to meet her hero, whose name is Delvar Dopson.
The girlâs mother thanked Delvar for his work and explained to him how important it is for Brooklyn to wave at him every thursday. He was pretty surprised but he admitted that every time he drove near the house he hoped that the girl would wave at him. Thatâs not the end of the story though. Next week Delvar had a surprise for the little girl.
He brought her a bunch of amazing birthday gifts!
They both got quite popular, and Delvar is getting a lot of thank you messages from trashmen from all over the world for representing them in such a good way.
The real story is even cuter đ©đ
IM SO GLAD I KNOW THE STORY
âAfter he left, we continued on to daycare. Brooklyn was unusually quiet in the backseat. I asked her if she was okay, and she said, âMommy, Iâm so happy.ââ

Blessed post
it would take 2.3 million years for Jeff Bezos to earn his $183.3b net worth working 24 hours a day at New Mexicoâs $9/hr minimum wage.
Thatâs 11.5 times longer than the human race has existed.
good
make it longer

i know that âdonât harass people for being weird, they might be autistic!â is a fairly popular take on here. but as a Certified Autist, iâd like to add that harassing allistic and/or neurotypical people for being weird is also bad, and should not be done
and before you come in with âyeah, you never know who is and isnât autistic, and you shouldnât force people to out themselves!â i want to say two things: one, i agree. and two, even if you could magically avoid ever harassing a single autistic person, it still wouldnât be okay to go after NTs for being weird. theyâre people, janice. theyâre allowed to be really invested in naruto
#stop playing the game of âwho is it okay for me to hurt?â #the answer is no one #the answer is ALWAYS going to be no one #none people is the correct number of people to hurt [X]

what compelled you to do this
Humans have been compelled to do this for thousands of years
catch me doing this just before I move out for a fun open house surprise :)
Reblog this with a pic you have that you never get the chance to use
Oops I had two
body positivity has largely failed because people started arguing for attractiveness and romantic prospects instead of respect and dignity
this is truly the best summary of what all of this SHOULD be about
not to be a âthis whole website is one giant social experimentâ but it honestly blows my mind on how tumblr has completely twisted the genuinely good philosophy of âbe thoughtful and think critically of the media you consumeâ and turned it into this extremist mindset where something is either completely ideologically pure in every single way (which, bad news. is impossible) or itâs the work of Complete Evil and must be banned and ignored in its entirety if found to be slightly problematic. and from this mindset has blossomed a black and white lens on human nature and a terrifying 1 strike and youâre out system with no growth mindset whatsoeverÂ
Iâll give you 3 guesses what OPâs been accused of
okay, iâll play. i checked thoroughly and OP hasnât been accused of anything, you just donât know how to argue against this post so you go for âcancel cultureâ, aka exactly what theyâre talking about. congrats, you proved their point Â
OP: Perhaps it would be healthier for everyone if we stopped being intimidated by nuance and grew out of our current puritanical holier-than-thou approach to media.
Some idiot: But Iâm sure youâve done something wrong in your life??
complete silence is more distracting than background noise and you can fight me on this
let me explain, if I donât have background noise my brain will make itâs own background noise and Brain Background Noise is infinitely more distracting than Regular Background Noise
âCorporations supporting things like BLM and Pride is largely performative and shouldnât be overly praised or focused on. Theyâre just trying to do what they think will earn them moneyâ and âCorporations openly showing support for things like BLM and Pride are incredibly importantâ and not mutually exclusive ideas.
Corporation support is not the source of social change, itâs the visible indication of it. A mall covered in rainbow flags with âpride month sales!â is nothing that makes LGBT people more accepted, nor do tweets from companies about supporting the BLM protests do anything to stop police violence, but they DO show the shift in public mindset. Corporations donât take risks. They donât make bold statements that they feel are unpopular or will lose them money or support. Theyâre a litmus test for when a statement or symbol that has been taboo becomes a commonly held belief.Â
When a corporation makes these kinds of statements, it means that the people out there fighting every day for these movements are having an effect. Their fight is causing a change in social perception to the point where businesses who carefully choose every single thing they say can post about solidarity with protesters and feel confidant that they are saying something that represents the feelings and beliefs of the majority. A mall being covered in Pride flags is a sign that the country will accept a mall filled with Pride flags. That those working to make social and cultural change are succeeding.Â
This this this this FUCKING THIS.
âitâs not nothing to have moved the needle so far that companies have decided the big money is on the side of pandering to us instead of to the people who hate usâ
