Post Endgame, Peter is over at the starks and Tony is alive
"Hey kid." Tony whispered to peter, sitting next to him on the couch.
Peter looked up, startled. "Mr. Stark.."
Tony smiled softly, "You okay?"
Peter nodded, "I thought you were with Morgan." He confessed.
"Carol and Nat stole her away, she's playing with them." Tony informed him with a hint of displeasure in his voice.
Peter chuckled, "You're very possessive of her." He observed.
Tony smiled again, "She's the best thing to have happened to me in a very long time. My little stark." He said adoringly.
"I thought you didn't like kids." Peter said
Tony nodded thoughtfully. "I always thought I didn't want any kids. I was always scared that I will be a bad father." He said softly.
Peter looked at him surprised.
Tony closed his eyes, "Howard Stark, my father was a great man, inspiration to thousands and honestly, to my own self as well. I am a part of him, and that is why I was scared that I might not be a good father to my kids. I never really had a father, and I didn't want to give another child a childhood that I have had." Tony told peter.
"But then, you and Harley came along. I began to trust myself to be a good guardian. I hope it's not just myself." Tony said, his eyes shining in mirth.
Peter looked at him surprised, "Of course not, you're.. you're a great guardian." He assured his mentor
"And she loves you 3000" Peter added
Tony looked at him surprised, "She said that to you?" He asked.
Peter nodded, "We were playing. She also told me that you told her stories about your missions with me, and that you told her that I was her big brother." Peter raised his brow at Tony.
Tony shrugged slightly, "You were not here when she was born, but I wanted her to know you, because you are her big brother." He said patting Peter's back.
"Thank you Mr. Stark" Peter said happily.
