tryna lock in a certain artstyle for my new au except i can only draw like 20% of the time and even then im not good enough yet to draw consistent
also despite having been a fan of TMNT for almost 10 years humanoid turtle anatomies are hard
suuper tempted to write a tmnt au, specifically a genderbend turtle au but THE QUESTION IS do i write ab female leonarda raphaela donatella and michelangela or do i make totally new turtle characters based off of each of the turtles while giving them their own individualities.
and another question is do i just switch the names of side characters such as april casey and splinter for the gender bend or do the same for side characters where i make a whole new cast loosely inspired?

Itās funny but incredibly telling how entitled/ignorant/insensitive some of these people areā¦ idk if itās an education gap or purposeful ignorance.
The really bewildering thing to me is that I remember when you needed to get up and pull a dictionary off the shelf, or visit a library to look up the facts you needed. Now people have all kinds of information literally at their fingertips and they canāt be bothered to use it.
