I rarely post actual pictures to tumblr (or any social media tbh), much less doodles, but i was looking through my old posts on other social medias and felt... actually kinda good about my art? There were many images i forgot about, and while not perfect, they were fun to look at and accompanying post were clearly written by someone who shares my sense of humor (lol)... I often notice that i start to like my art way more when i fell detached from it... "I am a shitty artist" vs. "i would never slander others artistic abilities" situation Anyway, i realized that i never ever made any compilation of my OC art/doodles, so i feel like making one!!!! These a images from last 5(?) years in no particular order, just a lot of doodles....For me to look at in the future at very least!!1 They are demons based on different types of fossil fuel, who meet in middle ages and continue to hang out to the modern days.
I honestly think i kinda cooked with this design, as goofy as it is....
Translation -"shit, i should have thought about it earlier" ( it's both actual main theme of this character and funny placeholder text) The big thing in their story is ones ability to adapt to changes. The Youngest (oil demon and often a lady) due to its flexible nature is able to thrive in modern world, while the Eldest ( coal demon, the masked one) is ready to perish alongside it's old ways. The Middle is stuck feeling as though the need of change is caused not by external change, but by inadequate choice made in the past (" if i choose something else it would still be good and efficient, but now i am stuck like this, because starting over would be even worse") . Hence the quote on the banner.
