I was curious about the casting of Gwendoline Christie as Lucifer, is Lucifer a female character in the show or is the show taking the more androgynous route with the depiction, like the Constantine movie did with casting Tilda Swinton as Gabriel?

Lucifer in the comics isn't male.

Gwendolyn plays the Lucifer in the comics.

my one solid take on morality in fiction is that if a character has dedicated themself to a convoluted count of monte cristo-esque revenge scheme against a bunch of shitty rich people they are absolutely right to do so and they better fuck those bastards up good

This little dude here was hovering too close to me for comfort, so I tipped a few drops of my strawberry lemonade onto the arm of my chair for her, which she greatly appreciated. I try to remember that most of the time, yellow jackets are just thirsty, and that I can be kind, and brave, and share my bounty, especially when it's very, very hot and dry out like it's been. I hope she eats a lot of pests and has a nice day.

once I spent like 15 minutes trying to cut a yellow jacket free from an abandoned spider web. It was very windy and it kept flinging around so I let it cling to a paper clip while I freed it.

I was at the county fair and there was a wasp right in the middle of the busy walkway. She kept trying to fly away and falling back down. At first I thought she was hurt, but after I let her crawl on my finger and moved her to an out of the way tree, she flew away just fine. I think she kept getting caught in the little eddies of wind from everybody walking past

I was at a folk music festival (in the before times) with my best friend and there was a really popular sweet iced tea/fancy juice stand. There was like four flavors and if you bought their fancy cup you could get unlimited refills, so we did. Bees and yellow jackets were OBSESSED with these drinks, buzzing around the stand and following around anyone with the fancy cup, cause it was hot and dry and they were sweet and wet. Basically the same reason all the humans were obsessed with them!

Anyway, lots of people were willingly giving sips to the bees but chasing off the yellow jackets. Which is kinda understandable cause they're often more agressive than bees. But all they wanted was a sweet drink on this super hot day like the rest of us. So my best friend and I let them have some of our drinks!

At one point an older guy, trying to be helpful I guess, was like "those big ones are wasps not bees". But we were like "yeah. If you let them have a drink they leave you alone 🤷" he definitely thought we were weird but hey, wasps gotta drink too!!! (And are an important part of the ecosystem, even if they scare me when they fly at my face)

At my grad school orientation, a yellowjacket had got herself stuck in the potato salad. I lifted her out and held her in my hand while she cleaned the mayo off her wings, and the people around me in line helped me fill my plate. Once her wings were clean, she flew off, and I gained a rep as crazy/wasp whisperer.

Recently I was eating a bagel sandwich outside for breakfast, and there was a yellowjacket buzzing around me, clearly interested in the bacon in my sandwich. Swatting at it probably would have gotten me stung, which is not what either of us wanted, so I pinched off a tiny piece of bacon and set it a foot or so away from me. The yellowjacket immediately landed and started chewing away at the bacon very excitedly, then flew off. For the price of a thumbnail-sized bit of bacon, we both got to have breakfast in peace.
