This is gold

Carrie Fisher is everyone’s favorite aunt.
why tall friends are great
they are towering fortresses good for taking shelter from sun, rain, and vicious birds
excellent hiding spot
they provide a path in crowds so we small ones can get through
can use as large pillows 10/10 would recommend
drawbacks
what do their faces look like
they’re always looking around like ‘SHIT where did my small friend go did i lose them’ worry not tall friend i am down here
?????
hugs are very boob
Tall friends are the best for us short squatty types

Michael Crichton taught me that this is a very bad idea
Nah man that was only Dinosaurs. We’re cool with other prehistoric animals, like the Andrewsarchus
the Enteledont
the first sabre toothed animal, Gorgonopsid
and my personal favourite, the 60- foot long predatory whale, Basilosaurus.
… Yeah I don’t think this is a good idea either…
Hey at least real scientists are pretty sure they have the right DNA to work with. Michael Crichton's DNA experiments wouldn't have produced dinosaurs, just lots of really huge mosquitoes...

All hail the glow cloud.
James Lopez, a veteran Disney animator (The Lion King, Pocahontas, Paperman), is currently trying to raise money for his traditionally animated project Hullabaloo. Hullabaloo is a steampunk short film which Lopez is hoping will help save the cause of 2D animation, and possibly lead to a TV series or film. So, if you’re interested in badass steampunk ladies or traditional animation, may I recommend you give a dollar or two. Hullabaloo's IndieGogo page is over here, visit to donate and learn more! And I’ll conclude with the plot:
Hullabaloo is the story of Veronica Daring, a brilliant young scientist who returns home from an elite finishing school to find her father—the eccentric inventor Jonathan Daring—missing without a trace! The only clue left behind points Veronica toward Daring Adventures, an abandoned amusement park used by her father to test his fantastical steam-powered inventions. There she discovers a strange girl named Jules, a fellow inventor who agrees to help Veronica in locating her missing father and discovering the secrets of his work.
Together, Veronica and Jules learn that Jonathan Daring has been kidnapped by a mysterious group of influential persons, who seek to use his latest invention for nefarious purposes. These villains are wealthy and influential and neither Veronica nor Jules can stop them openly. But determined to save her father and holding true to the family creed that technology should be used for the good of all, not the greed of some, Veronica assumes the secret identity of “Hullabaloo”, a goggled crusader who uses wits and science to combat evil and oppose the nefarious conspiracy that has taken her father.
I'm sad that this probably only barely passes the Bechdel test, if at all.
20 songs
elainevdw tagged me! Apparently the object of the game is to put your old ipod or itunes on shuffle, then write down the songs. But! My old ipod has gone through a few factory resets. There's nothing left on it from before.
However! I recently cleared out a bunch of old boxes from high school and found... my CD collection D: The very same collection I drug around in my backpack for years, along with my discman and fuzzy headphones...
For brevity I'll just put the whole title of the CD. For funsies I'll link music where I can find it!
Paul Oakenfold - Voyage into Trance. Techno music 1.0 baby
Mix disc titled "Erotic Trance", never figured out what the actual name was
Chris Gaines - Greatest Hits. Garth Brooks does Alt Rock <.<
Alanis Morissette - Jagged Little Pill. I still know all the lyrics to Hand in my Pocket
Songs from Dawson's Creek. Season ONE folks.
The Cranberries - Everybody else is doing it, so why can't we? Love loved LOVED The Cranberries in my teens. Kind of sets my teeth on edge now though.
Jewel - Spirit. I still love most of this disc, her voice is so full of emotion and vibrancy
Savage Garden - Savage Garden. OMG this CD. Sound track to all of my life in 97/98.
Robert Miles - Dreamland. More trance, but this is ambient instead of clubby.
Sailor Moon - Songs from the Hit TV Series. When I wasn't listening to Savage Garden I was probably listening to this.
Sailor Moon In Love. How did I even get this?? It's like.. a German made CD full of Europop songs inspired by Sailor Moon? Or something? Where did this even come from???
Matchbox 20 - Yourself or Someone Like You. Didn't every single 90's kid own this CD by default? They did in podunk CO anyhow. I wish the band still sounded like this.
The Cranberries - No Need to Argue. I actually have ALL the discs from back then...
Annnd that's it, no more discs. Well there's more, but they're all weird trance mix sets. I stopped buying CDs around the end of high school, and never really got into buying stuff on iTunes.
Enjoy!!!
This is my favorite post ever.

THANK YOU. I am finally not the only one to see this.
The only way I accept this movie is to envision Legolas as having a schizophrenic episode where he woke up thinking he was human, wandered to Lake Town, started a family, and played out his daddy issues.
Game of Thrones cast ⇢ Kit Harington
He easily admits to being something of a naughty teen. “I think I got 50 detentions one year. I was a rebellious little s***, one of those annoying little teenagers who fights against any authority,” he explains and laughs. “I wasn’t too bad. I didn’t get expelled. I drifted between groups and found that I was just a drama student who liked dressing in black.” (X)
