I’m pretty sure almost every one has heard of Quest Nutrition. If you haven’t, they’re a company that was created in 2010 and eventually became famous for their delicious and flavorful protein bars. Couple of years later, they’ve been expanding their line with new flavors, Quest Protein Chips, and Quest Protein Powders. One day, I decided to reach out to Quest so I could write a review on their bars and they were kind enough to send me 16 different flavors of their bars (the Cookies & Cream flavor isn’t pictured because I was too excited to try it before the picture!), plus their protein chips and protein powder! As soon as the box arrived at my front door, I was extremely excited and couldn’t wait to taste everything. Click the read more link to see how I felt about the different Quest Nutrition products!
Since Quest sent me so many different things, I had to try everything over a couple of weeks. I definitely didn’t want to have way too much protein in a day. Starting from top to bottom, I was sent five different flavors of Quest’s Protein Chips: Sour Cream & Onion, Salt Vinegar, Sea Salt, BBQ, and Cheddar & Sour Cream. I have to say these chips were alright. The salt flavor ones were a bit too salty for me to handle. If I had to choose a favorite, it’d be the Cheddar & Sour Cream for the flavor. I also had my roommate try the chips and we both agreed these chips probably are in between a hit & miss and an acquired taste. If I kept eating them, maybe I would’ve gotten used to the texture but these are nothing close to regular chips.
For the protein packets, oooh, these I definitely liked. When mixed, they’re thick and creamy, which is something I love the most. If it’s not thick enough, it just isn’t worth it in my opinion. The flavors are just, amazing. My absolutely favorite was Vanilla Milkshake (I love anything vanilla flavored!). Every single protein powder was delicious and I’ve already ordered more since I used all of these!
For the protein bars, just wow. Most of these were delicious. What I love the most is that Quest has such a variety of flavors because how many protein bar companies do you know that have flavors like Vanilla Almond Crunch, White Chocolate Raspberry, or Peanut Butter Supreme? Some of the bars were a little bit hard for me to eat, especially on an empty stomach. Other than that, the taste was not too bad and I can understand the craze about Quest Bars, especially since they have low amounts of sugar, over 10 grams of fiber, 20 grams of protein, and are gluten free. There were only two that I didn’t eat because I’m allergic to blueberries (Mixed Berry Bliss) and because I cannot stomach mint chocolate (Mint Chocolate Chunk). I had my roommate try both and she gave the Mint Chocolate Chunk two thumbs up (she said she would’ve gave more, but those are all the thumbs she has) and the Mixed Berry Bliss received only 1 thumbs up.
Sorry if you guys were looking for a review on every single flavor of everything, but I didn’t want to make this too long so I just gave an overview of each product line.
Overall, I recommend people to try at least one quest bar in their life and definitely try the protein powder. If you’re feeling a bit risky, I’d say go ahead and try the protein chips too!
