Formerly pro-woman and anti-rape website being overrun with misogynistic pedophilia apologia
Whenever they gave us one of those "read through ALL the instructions before you begin!" trick assignments in school where the steps lead you on an increasingly ridiculous goose chase until the final one tells you to just put your name on the paper and turn it in without doing anything else, I was always like, "Okay, but what's the point? Surely the REAL world won't be anything like this." And then I grew up and discovered that not only is the real world often exactly like that, some people won't even read the first line of the instructions even if they make perfect sense. And these people are called "co-workers"
I hate that nobody cares about the genocide in West Papua. No matter how much I've talked about it online nobody cares. Why are you so apathetic to Black Indigenous people getting killed. Why do you think there's a viable excuse for not caring
What will it take? There's source after source after source documenting Indonesia's violent colonization and oppression of the West Papuan people. This isn't even the only instance of Indonesia doing/having done this to a group of Indigenous people. What will it take? What will it take? What can I do to make you care about this?

Can we run away together
I've been repeating delete thy blog wretched saboteur to myself for like 10 minutes

sonce the sports are happening big rn where i live i made a handy chart of all the phrases i use to communicate with my loved ones during these trying times. i thought others might find it useful too
ive discovered you can have whole conversations with people using just these phrases and none will be any the wiser that you dont even know what sport it is theyre talking about
Is this accurate? Asking for a friend ...
ive gotten a lot of annoying responses and tags on this post, including the same IT crowd quote over and over again, people saying this post is dumb, and people saying i should care about sports more.
i truly do not care about all those responses, but this one is where i draw the line. this post is specifically and explicitly about bridging the gap between people who could not care less about sports (like me) and our family/friends who DO care about sports and are excited to talk about them.
im sure theres a lot we agree on about sports, but the post about interacting positively with people who love sports is not the place for it.
also with my whole heart: i cannot recommend the sheer entertainment value of, in good faith, simply calling it "sports boys" and going "did the sports boys you like win the game?" or "how are your sports boys doing?"
this will effectively communicate
i do not know shit or fuck about these sports boys, please do not ask me my opinions on them and expect an answer. you will not convince me to care about sports on its own.
i am trying to be friendly with you, so you may now tell me who your boys are and if they're doing well as a friend might, but i will not be taking it that seriously so if you get in depth i will absolutely not remember this information. but i will now adopt your sports boys as my own for the next 30 seconds and do a big smile and say "thats great!" if you inform me your boys are doing well at the sport
i retain exactly enough information to vaguely recall which sport it is my coworkers are talking about, and the addition of calling it something very silly a la "sports boys" or "sportsball" every time serves as a flag that this is a nonserious but friendly conversation where i am asking about your interests but have no stake in the game myself.
it also has the objectively very funny end result where now people who are sports fans get so used to referring to "my sports boys" when talking to me that they do this with other people despite it being an objectively buckwild tumblresque word to use. one of my pharmacists walked in when the new york team won the big game and just yelled SPORTSBOYS!!! to the whole pharmacy. i still dont care about sports whatsoever but i like when my friends and acquaintances are happy about something, and now i have been friendly and injected whimsy into the situation, which all parties are pleased about. much like how you may appreciate when people ask you about a show or book youre consuming, sports people appreciate being asked about their sport, or being yes-and-ed a la the op. friendly actions. :)
When 1780 babies in Cuba die due to the measurably heightened effects of the blockade on the medical system, you must understand this as the United States murdering 1780 Cuban babies. Despite having one of the world's most advanced medical systems, and the highest doctors per capita compared to any other country (over 2.5x that of the United States) 10s of 1000s of people are unable to access medical treatment in Cuba because of the strangulation of the Cuban healthcare system. The defense of Cuba is a litmus test for socialists, you must condemn Imperialism, not the revolution, the blockade is an act of genocide
This isn't going to become some anomalous method of arresting people. They will be shocking people like this as a matter of course.
Luckily thick clothing will insulate you from the shock.
free the nipple has to make a resurgence for a number of reasons but bro look at our upcoming eternity of wet bulb temps youre smoking straight up cock if you think im keeping a shirt on when it hits 105° in new england
had to share this
In every way this is set up to be a joke like any other short video, it even uses the trope of main character in a wig to represent their mom, but it isn't funny at all. It's just sweet and nice
"its still racist even if you act like youre joking"- something a shockingly few amount of people understand
My brothers lost years of education because of the war in Gaza.
Now they finally have a chance to continue.

OH MY GOD, STOP NOW. STOP NOW. DO NOT SCROLL PAST THIS.
Sadly, baby Qais's heart stopped tonight after severe blood loss. Doctors brought him back through electric shocks, but I am still trembling as I write these words.
Every day, Qais's condition grows worse. The medicine he needs is painfully expensive, and I simply do not have enough money to keep buying his treatment or the blood units he desperately needs.
I am begging you as a persecuted mother in Gaza, watching my baby bleed in front of me, unable to stop it. Please donate now and help me save his life before it’s too late.
Please donate now Gofundme
Donations have completely stopped, and today the hospital administration warned they may expel us because I cannot afford my baby Qais’s treatment anymore. Please, I beg you through my tears, donate now before my child is abandoned without care.
The doctor told me that due to malnutrition and lack of treatment, my baby Qais has developed severe anemia. I have no money to get what he needs. Please, can you donate now so I can buy his medicine and food?
Unfortunately, I am still using torn pieces of old cloth instead of medical bandages because I do not have enough money to buy proper supplies, and my baby Qais’s wound keeps reopening and bleeding. Please, I beg you, donate now and help me save him.
Every day, I open my messages hoping to find a sign that someone still cares, and every silence feels heavier than hunger, pain, or fear. The hardest part is watching baby Qais suffer while help feels farther away. Please, don't let silence decide his fate—Donate and save him.
A detail I find really interesting about Chell, GLaDOS, and Wheatley's first confrontation in Portal 2 is when Wheatley starts gloating about taking over the facility. "I did this! Tiny little Wheatley did this!"
And GLaDOS interjects like, "You didn't do this. She did all the work!"
I find that interjection fascinating because. Like.
GLaDOS doesn't actually know anything about what happened behind the scenes. She lost track of Chell and Wheatley after Wheatley opened up a wall panel and they bolted off together into the facility's inner workings. She doesn't see them again until Chell falls for her fake door trap, at which point GLaDOS is unpleasantly surprised to discover that Chell's disabled the turrets and neurotoxin in the meantime.
She has no evidentiary foundation to base that accusation on.
This is also before GLaDOS recognizes Wheatley as the Dumbass Core, so it's not based on an assessment of him.
The only explanation it leaves is that it's based on her assessment of Chell. Despite GLaDOS's enmity towards Chell, the one thing she rarely goes after Chell for is her intelligence.
When she does, it's an admission of her high standards for Chell; Like when the fake door trap works and GLaDOS concedes, "I didn't actually think that would work. I already built a much better, smarter trap up ahead for when this one fails." That's a backhanded insult. It's calling her dumb, but in a disappointed way rather than an affirming way.
Chell tests very well. Between the two games, GLaDOS has developed a strong understanding of Chell's aptitude for critical thinking and problem-solving in stressful situations.
And so she takes it on faith, just from what she knows of Chell, that Wheatley is stealing Chell's credit.
