Just went to the first HADES concert and it was SO FUCKIN GOOD. I can't wait for more pople to see. It was really such an amazing performance and makes me so excited to what Melanie does with the music videos.

First and foremost, as an artist I was INFATUATED with the backgrounds for each song. Sadly I dont have all of them because I took pictures of some with my digital camera and haven't pulled those yet.

It really felt less like a concert and more like a performance, and the environments really added to the story she was telling

This was 'GARBAGE's. It really encapsulated Circle's (Melanie's character) beginning life as a cultist and being blinded by the "perfect" life.

'IS THIS A CULT?' Being on the inside now, the enviorment is ghostly. Disillusioned and questioning the power and systems in place.

'POSSESSION' was on my digi, but it was lighter. A white shelf with trinkets, someone's "possessions", if you will.

'WHITE BOY WITH A GUN', again inside. Seems fine at a glance, but there's cobwebs and whatnot, hinting at negligence. Circle and the actor played the part of a toxic wife/husband dynamic. Circle, being the girl boss she is, killed him.

'DISNEY PRINCESS' was also in my digi, but it was a pink castle.

Then due to Cirlce goung against the grain, THIS HAPPENS

In the story, this was the leaders punishing Circle for going against what they wanted and infusing her with a chemical that would make her more compliant and perform for us.

Watching this animation was so fucking AWESOME.

'GRUDGES'. Getting into the darker stuff, the house lost it's light whimsy, there a giant fucking bug (which i totally realized was there before putting this picture up haha) and the red all over the center stage. Brought the angry energy to this. The red light flashed a lot too.

'MONOPOLY MAN' was a bank. 'Nuff said

She sang to someone on the center stage for 'AVOIDANT', so the camera was on them the entire time.

'MONOLITH' was also one where the camera was on her. She had everyone put on their flashlights for this one and there were balls of light around her and the dancers on the center stage.

'WEIGHT WATCHERS' OMFG I LOVED THIS ONE. Not only was the performance itself great, but the background was too. Not only is this doll open for presumed surgery to remove her organs to make her thinner and smaller(vital ones at that),they removed some of those organs for a fetus (for the pregnancy line), and THE DOLL FUKN MOVED TO THE MUSIC. Not enough to distract from the stage and the performance going on, but slightly to the beats of the chorus. It was easily my favorite.

'THE PLAGUE' was a hospital wing, self explanatory, and occasionally a projection of rats would be on the center stage.

'BATSHIT INTELLEGENCE' is the house from 'GRUDGES' (talking about the same "house")but a little brighter so you can see the cracks in it and the foundation. Bats also flew across the house.

'GUTTER' QNOTHER ONE OF MY FAVORITES WITH THE ANIMATION OMFGGGGG

So we start with this, houses made of wood, obviously not as extravagant as the houses or buildings we've seen before, very obviously poorer people's housing.

Then as we're talking about taking away people's ability to afford housing and afford to live, around the second chorus/bridge, feet come down and crush all the houses leaving

I was so into the story, I forgot to take a picture or video of it happening, but yeah, the came, crushed people's homes and left a burning pyre in their wake.

'UNCANNY VALLEY' was a clothing shop. They also has skins with hair as a prop. The whole "shopping for a body".

So there was a costume change between 'UNCANNY VALLEY' and 'THE VATICAN', so we got this hellish looking cathedral, fitting for what we were going into for the next song.

The cathedral gets lit up in blue once the song comes on, making it look "heavenly". Close to when the song ends, everything get lit in a white light, making everything "clearer"

'HELL'S FRONT PORCH' had a wavy and melted looking house and of course the fan in the arch at the bottom. There was warm lighting that really gave it it's summery feel. Sadly, I didn't take a photo of the house when it actually started melting and the lamps caught fire.

I found 'CHATROOM''s backdrop really interesting because it was actually in integral part of the performance. The center screen was a live video from the computer she was sitting at on stage, up until she was dragged away from the computer during the chorus. Then it became another lyric screen. The dancers did smaller dances around the computer until they dragged Melanie away from it, then they started taking up more of the stage.

The thing I found interesting about this performance is that if you solely focused in the screen, you'd miss what was going on around her on stage, but if you solely focused on the stage, you really wouldn't really get to see Melanie. It really felt like one of those "dont focus on one thing" type performances.

'THE LAST TWO PEOPLE ON EARTH' had a very homey vibe to it. A lot more modern too. She performed on the center stage for this one and had a little living room situation going on with a TV and couch. It really felt like a comfortable home. And of course, things caught fire, and the backdrop became that of an apocalypse, really making her and the other dancer performing with her the last two people on earth.

All in all, I absolutely loved this show/concert and its definitely one I'll never forget. Melanie did an amazing job with the performance, storytelling, and of course, the visual storytelling with the backdrops. This whole concert had me on my feet excited to what she was doing. It was truly and amazing experience!

I think it's so funny how we bred JOBS into dogs. I have two shih tzus and they were bred to be lap dogs. All they care about is looking cute and cuddling with people. Meanwhile my grandma has a border collie and that dog needs to feel so useful all the time, he acts like he will pass away if he doesn't have a job to do constantly

Your husky isn’t “hyperactive”, it’s bred to pull sleds for 8 hours straight and you have it in a 400 sq ft yard.

Your English sheepdog isn’t “pushy”, it’s bred to herd sheep, and you have neither to space nor the herd to allow it.

They were bred to bully livestock across the hills of Wales. This is basically a Border Collie that knows he is cute enough to get away with murder. I've been taking magnesium vitamins this past month try to help keep healthy cause my body's fucked, but I think they've just made my pain worse.
