I finished the puffin and I'm naming him Pedro!!! I'm surprised at how accomplished I feel tbh. I've never really fully finished a knitting project before. I normally drop it out of fear that I'll mess it up.

Zevlor nation, this was intended to be a simple study but you guys had some fascinating takes. I get excited when folks break down choices in art and how it feels to them.

Like abogwitchnamedsage caught the softness in his eyes while kalgarts also saw suspicion. Kal and selqie pointed out the magenta background feels moody and supports the emotions in his expression

That's all to say I'm grateful for your guys insight and it's made me think about it too

I also had a lot of fun with textured brushes and the border was a last minute add. The background felt empty so I reused a graphic I made for my animatic

Speaking of I'm dying to do a Risk it All animatic. If I have the mental capacity I might do two versions. I found a beautiful cover by tishelz on tik tok for Vera buuut the og song fits so well for Asra from The Arcana. I'm surprised someone hasn't already made an edit for him with the resurgence the fandom is getting

Well hey there peeps 👋,

You may have noticed that I've been MIA for a good while now. Equally and validly you may not have noticed either 🤷 I'm aware that I'm fairly quiet for the most part and fly under most people's radar's.

Anyhoo, if you're wondering where I've been, well this last year or so has been an absolutely wild ride! So far I've gotten divorced (still in the process boo!), started my medical transition, had my gallbladder try to yeet me from the planet and thusly have surgery to yeet said gallbladder (bestie has named him Gary, he was a very problematic boy). Oh I've also been disowned by my abusive parents which means I lost my entire family. I do love it when the trash takes itself out but it certainly did take its toll and my usual go to when going through it is to just sort of withdraw from society. To take time to heal somewhat and lick my wounds. If I negated to reply or missed something you tagged me in, apologies and feel free to ping me if you want me to see it!

I think I may be ready to come back to posting as I've started to get back into art and have been thinking about sharing some of it here. I've also started knitting again which I might post some of here too. We shall see! You may also see a return of some old favs too as I replay through cyberpunk and baldursgate 3.

All in all I'm stoked to be back but didn't want to just abruptly slide back into posting without some sort of reasoning. I'm finding through therapy that I struggle to connect a lot of the time because I don't share the real me very often so I'm planning to change that a little and this is going to be my first very small step. Love the lot of ya🫰
