Great news
Omg it's so sweet... These sheep were brought here on purpose to manage the grass and weeds and keep the graveyard neat, the whole community loves them, children play with them. A woman was apparently startled by them and fell over and complained on Facebook, and the church was like okay well. We should sell the sheep. And the community all went YOU ARE NOT SELLING THE SHEEP
The beloved and extremely friendly black sheep that keep the graveyard neat and clean for all those that visit. I love these sheep
Fig 1: Ratte before The Crinkle(tm)
Fig 2: Ratte after The Crinkle(tm). Note the radar dishes and peady beepers are set to alert level 1, ready to detect the first sign of Treat Dispensing so appropriate action can be taken if needed.
Alas, The Crinkle(tm) was on TV thus no treats were dispensed at that time.

Okay that’s skillz
Training herding dogs side of tumblr, please explain
It's called shedding. Sometimes you need to single out some animals from others in the herd for some reason, this lets you do it in a field relatively quickly and with less stress for the animals compare to other methods (like running them all through a chute or a race).
It's a higher level sheepdog skill, they usually do it in trials too.
There's a cool video on it here
Dogs with jobs are always superb but I'm especially delighted to see that the Mission Impossible theme still has its uses. 💜

Jojo jumped onto my foot with his big meaty claws and it's the final straw. He's going to the street where the hawks will feast upon his corpulent body. Say goodbye to JoJo everyone 👋🏾
Offered no apology. No words of comfort for my impaled toe. Just scooted over here with no shame. This is the face of the criminal some would ask me to spare
Jury! Shall we send this boy to the guillotine?!?
LET HIM GO!
BISMILLAH NO WE WILL NOT LET HIM GO!
These pescatarian birds are directly exposed to PFAS contamination due to the island's position near the St. Lawrence Seaway.
Over fifty years of data show a peak in PFAS (also known as "forever chemicals") content in seabird eggs in the 90s, followed by a decrease as regulations went into effect. The most recent findings show a 70% decrease of most common PFAS.
While continued vigilance a regulation is needed, this data indicates that regulations are working to reduce PFAS concentrations in marine ecosystems.
i have a Black creator I'd like to share !!! ☝️ I haven't seen him on here yet so
casual geographic / mamadou ndiaye !! he makes videos about animals that are equal parts funny & informative, ive always liked animals so I love putting his channel on in the background when I do chores or crafts :p
https://youtube.com/@mndiaye_97?si=9b4cG2IO4QOOwiGe (won't let me embed the link for some reason, sry 😔)
he also wrote a book!! i haven't read it yet but I plan on buying it soon :3
You're probably here from TikTok. Welcome. I still have no idea what I'm doing. Email: [email protected]
He's one of my favorites, I'm always ready when he posts a new video. People were apparently mean to him for his jokes recently, and it's like... Grow up. He makes silly wise cracks but it's very obvious that he's passionate about wildlife and animal care and conservation. Y'all wouldn't last a second in a Black lunchroom 😭 but yes top recommendation
