will byers i am so grateful that i got to know you. my whole life i felt out of place, and weird. i remember discovering stranger things at 9 years old with my family, and as we discussed our favorite characters i immediatly pronounced your name. they lightheartedly made fun of me for it, saying "he had pratically no screentime yet" and "all he did was be weak", but even then you were so much more than that for me. i already saw you. and most importantly i saw myself in you. you always were the strongest character in my eyes. i am so glad i got to see you grow. you suffered so much yet got the courage to get up and fight every single time. nobody ever appreciated you for how much you've been through, and how much you put others first : for how much you've loved. your heart is so big, and you were never wrong for it. you managed to accept who you are and move on with life, and i hope one day i will be able to. you once were my role model, and always will be. i'm sorry you never got to see how loved you were when you needed it the most. i'm sorry your writers didn't care.
