Terra Branford Progress For the past few weeks I’ve been working on my LBM/MCC costumes and one of them is Terra Branford from FFVI / Final Fantasy Dissidia! <3 Loads and loads of details! X__x I’ve spent almost 20 hours just painting stuff and there’s still more painting to be done! :’) Also spent waaaay too much time those boots. X_X But I’m pleased with how everything looks <3

Still alive!

As you can see, I’m still alive! XD Between work and uni, a social life and actually making these costumes (and all my fangirling XD), it’s hard to keep stuff up to date on all social media platforms. :’) The only one I’ve been posting regularly last year was my fb page. Not sure how many of you actually still follow this blog, but I shall try to get to posting stuff here, too! So much stuff from last year to show you! And also working on new costumes right now! so yay! :D

I am in love with your Mystique cosplay and I was wondering what materials were used for it! I'm planning on making the same suit but I have no idea where to start! I've been looking at scuba suits for the base but i don't really think that will work out D:

Hiya!This reply is likely super late, sorry about that!Thank you very much, I’m quite proud of that suit.Unfortunately I’m not quite sure what the fabrics are called.Funnily enough, the yellow fabric is just cotton some fabric. I used two layers of that + the dark blue lining to have a more “stable”(?) look.The black parts are made from usual pleather and the blue fabric is some weird strechy awning (yes, you read that right XD) fabric.Tbh, it’s hard to tell what exactly the blue fabric is supposed to be sorry. D:The clasps are made out of foam and worblas.I made the suit from scratch, so I can’t really say much about using scuba suits as base sorry :/I’m really bad at explaining this, sorry! I wish I could’ve been of more help.Good luck with your costume though!

Hiya! Pretty much everything on that costume is made out of some sort of cotton fabric. The blouse included. :)

Hi there! I just came across the pics of your mystique cosplay and I was wondering what body paint you used? I plan on doing a cosplay in the near future that requires a lot of blue body paint but I've only ever used Snazaroo and it doesn't go on very evenly and gets everywhere, yours looks perfect! Mind sharing your ways with me? :D

Hey there! Sorry for the late reply!For the base body paint I used Supracolor from a brand called “Kryolan”, is very easy to apply and stays even all day. I combined two shades of blue to get an accurate colour though.You can buy Supracolor face paint in all kinds of colours here:https://uk.kryolan.com/product-lines/supracolor/face-bodyYou only need very little of it to cover your whole face.They also have an exellent fixing powder, which you should definitely use after applying the bodypaint!They do sell Kryolan products at different make-up shops, too. So hopefully you can get

Harley Quinn Cosplay - Photo Set 1 I’ve been away from tumblr for a while and I’ve got a lot of catching up to do! First up is my Arkham Knight Harley Quinn cosplay! :D We had this really cool shooting in April in an abandoned asylum, which was just perfect for a Arkham related shooting. So I finall got around to making a Harley cosplay! It’s a rather unusual cosplay choice for me and I enjoyed the challenge a lot! Mystique Cosplay  Hiya! I’ve been neglecting my tumblr a bit, sorry :) But I have a lot of new cosplays and photos to show you!! <3 First up: a cosplay that is really close to my heart and one that challenged me in many many ways: Mystique! Making the suit was very hard even though I had made one for Charles before! And the make up took me 6 damn hours in the morning... 8D but I’m quite proud of the result! Hope you guys like it! <3

X-men: First Class -> Mystique Cosplay progress

Mystique suit almost done!! X__X Only a few details left omg. This suit really drove me crazy. There are so many little annoying details in this design... And it's really awful to make. People are always impressed by dresses, but tbh I'd rather sew 5 ballgowns than another one of these!!! >__< I can't believe it’s mostly done!! Now I just need to do the Make up right, aah 8'D *nervous*

I cannot move well in this suit though.... XD Can't really sit comfortably 8DDD It's gonna be tough.

Frozen Cosplay - Snow Set 1

Last weekend we went to Austria to do a snow photoshoot in our Frozen Cosplays!! <3 It was amazing and I just love the results!! Here's the first set! <3

any chance I could ask for a picture of your amy capelet laid out flat too? The skirt was literally so helpful I would've wasted so much muslin figuring that out on my own, haha, thanks!!

No problem, I had a bit of time so I made photos and a roug sketch in paint :)

This is what the vest looks like laid out. the only connecting seams are the shoulder seemed.I line the whole cape/vest thingy. ^^

This is what the pattern, I made looked like very roughly;

Cut is out, line it, sew the whoulders together, add the tassels, the little patterns and the clasp at the front - et voilá:

It was a slightly wavy 1,20 m long light blonde wig.As for styling, I merely made a brade, arranged it around the wig and sewed the brade onto the wig with transparent thread to keep it in place. :’)Then I cut the fringe and curled the end of the front strand slightly.
