You know what retro anime ship deserves more fanfics? No, despite what all ... 9 of my followers might think, its not Gourry x Lina x Slyphiel (though I do wish there were more fanfics about that one too). No, I think Kei x Yuri from the series Dirty Pair needs more love in the fanfic department. I mean, they argue like an old married couple, live together, spend long periods of time traveling through space with no human company but each other, have a psychic link with each other, and both have minimal success in their dating lives when it comes to retaining relationships with their dates. That's just asking for some, if you'll pardon the pun, yuri fanfics to be written about them. Don't get me wrong, there are some, but far less than you'd think given how long the series has been around, though some of that can be attributed to the fact that it was an 80s anime which came out before le interwebs really took off. Still, I really do wish there were more Kei x Yuri fics out there!
