I've got two old gc2b binders, one is a small and one is a medium. The medium is in a bit rougher shape than the small (has some strings hanging out, a bit discolored under the arm holes -- its clean I swear, just stained) but if anyone needs one for free itll do the trick. Just shy of 6 weeks post op
The right side of my back is kind of swollen and hurts like a bruise and idk what that's about. My right side kind of around my ribs still gets a little sore too but not bad. And I've been rubbing my scars more with lotion and that and still wearing the compression vest every now and then and NOT LIFTING THINGS I SHOULDNT, LIKE MYSELF ONTO A COUNTER, AND HURTING MYSELF IN THE PROCESS, seems to he helping some of the droop. It's still there but it's starting to look better. Also getting more floof, especially in my chest, which is fine and all but itchy

A day shy of five weeks post op
Collection of observations:
Can now stretch my right arm all the way up with hardly any discomfort. Left not quite there
Like 90% of the swelling is gone, am going to talk to the surgeon about a revision when I go back for the next follow up. Really hope there are no tubes since its just trimming skin but honestly even if there are I'm doing it. Droopy nips are very sad and annoying
The surface of the skin seems to be the last part to seal where the incisions are which is just interesting to me
Not having sensation is the most annoying thing
But inner sensation is coming back first. Just really slowly. Like it doesn't feel weird and half numb when my cat walks across my chest or sits in me anymore. Just very slightly sore. Some random burning sensations around my incisions and the occasional itch.
Still can't sleep the way I like to because it puts pressure right on the parts on the sides of my ribs that are still swollen and its uncomfortable. Like try laying on a wallet and it feels like that kinda
Can put enough weight on my arms to climb on the counters fairly comfortably again
Lotion is good, helps the skin seal and seems to help break up some of the inner stitches a bit and be good for the scars. NOT GOOD when you accidentally press too hard into the inner stitches. Vague pain where you're numb is super worrying but seems chill now
One week until the weight restriction is lifted and I'm so hype. I mean I picked up a friend Friday night anyway but sh it didn't hurt and it was only for a second

A bit over 3 weeks post op
Not the best look, but I'll stifle my vanity for the sale of being real with you all. So here ya go in all my still slightly swollen glory, with nipple smiles where it's a but... loose. Featuring my deformed rib.
Carefully took the last bit of tape off, still have some skin glue with dried blood on it holding me together (? Maybe? Definitely some places where it came off with the tape that the skin seems sealed up pretty well. Not going to pull stuff off though. Well, any more than I already have. I'm going to try.) Putting aquaphor on it whenever I think to and amshirtless, pretty much how you do with a tattoo once you're no longer obsessing over it. Possibly tmi: not as droopy when it's cold. Hoping all the swoop eventually goes away though, and that the left one unfolds once the glue all comes off and all, but not as concerned about that as the drop, especially on the right. Guess I'll just have to see if it improves between now and my follow up
A bit under 3 weeks post op? I think?
I neglected to say anything about my post OP doctor's appointment before but it went well. Damn if I don't like the doctor more every time I see him?? Idk. But yeah, all's good, gave me lots of hard prods, said the worst of the swelling and awkward lumpiness starts to for away after 2 weeks but it was already looking really good. No problems from ripping that drain out, just me being paranoid, and the knot on my left side is easing up so I didn't even bother asking about that. Other than that there's a bit of one of my under the skin stitches poking out a wee bit on my left side? I think? It's like a little plastic string so I guess that's what it is. Not gonna mess with it for worry about it though. Occasional random pains, every now and then pretty sharp ones. Like the other day I actually felt a sensation like a cut round my right nipple and checked it out to make sure it hadn't opened and it's all good, just nerves being funky. And I can kind of see what they mean about a bit of loose skin when I love certain ways but eh? Like for it to look really weird I have to be in a really weird position so isgaf. Figure the rest will get better as swelling goes down and I can get back to the gym in another month, and dimples and shit dont bother me. Hypersensitivity around the edges of my numbness are annoying.
And I didn't even take off the compression vest so guess who's sleeping shirtless because he can? THIS GUY
Post op day 17
So I called the doctors office as soon as they opened and the problem was that they had canceled my appointment! Whoever I talked to when I called and asked about the drains because I was being paranoid thought that the appointment was to remove the drains so canceled it entirely, without asking me if it needed to be canceled. So they tried to have me come in on the 20th when I have class and since I told them that any day they did if after this week if have to miss classes they were n oce enough to put me in for tomorrow at three instead. Forgive me if I'm not overly grateful for them accommodating my school schedule since there's no fucking way they should have canceled in the first place. It doesn't make any sense to do a surgery and then just NEVER have a post op consultation to check on thongs, regardless of whether I took my own drains out or not.
Post op day 16
And honestly kind of pissed??? Supposed to go back in for a post op appointment tomorrow and logged into the patient portal to try to get the exact address only to find that I now apparently have no upcoming appointments? I have a screenshot from a week ago saying I did in fact have one though so I'm calling in the morning to try to figure out what happened and if I still have an appointment and where the fuck I'm supposed to go because there are two places that it might be.
But! Even more pissed off because! I actually read his procedure write up and!!! He was talking at the beginning about advising me to go with peri but I wanted to go with keyhole instead and that is!!!! THE OPPOSITE!!! OF HOW THE CONSULTATION WENT!!!! BECAUSE I WAS THE ONE SAYING I'D PROBABLY PREFER PERI, IF NOTHING ELSE TO REDUCE AREOLA SIZE A BIT!!!! AND HE SAID NAH!!!!!!! AND WAS LEANING A LOT MORE TOWARDS KEYHOLE!!!!!!!
So there's apparently a greater risk of excess skin on my right side but I "opted to do keyhole instead" according to this SOB and I'm really fucking pissed. Not so much about the asymmetry or whatever because frankly I'm a lopsided bastard anyway, I've got a fairly prominent th my rib on my left side and plan on working out a fuck ton more when I can so I imagine a little excess skin met very well fill up with more muscle mass. But now I'm even more worried about the excess swelling on the right side and that that's going to make it even worse. And I am so fucking pissed off about the flat out dishonesty??? Like if you can't remember shit take notes you fucker???
Like I still think it looks good. I'm still overal happy with it and the swelling keeps improving. And it's not like I'm not grateful but Jesus Christ is it too much to ask for someone to have their shit straight and be honest? And does this mean that if it turns out I'm not chill with whatever "excess skin" I end up with wherever that I have to fork out another 9,000 for a revision? Istg fuck capitalism and the American healthcare industry that encourages doctors to treat patients like wallets instead if people and not really give a fuck about talking to them and seeing what they need/want, instead of realizing after the fact "whoops might be a little lopsided" and writing it up like that was the agreement to cover your own ass.
Anyway. Here's ya lopsided boy. Can still see the lines under my chest where the tubes were too. Idk looking at it objectively and not ranting or freaking out I'm still inclined to think that once that muscle chills the fuck out it's going to look just fine? I don't think there's going to be anything that noticeable wring more than any cis dude... every ONE Can have random dimples and puckers in their skin, right? My body's not perfect but you know the fuck what now it feels like mine and I like it, and I'll like it even more once it's all healed. Flaws and all.

12/30/18/ post op day 13
So swelling is a little better and less lopsided thanks to packing the extra shit in the vest differently. Pain was definitely worse though, and I'm assuming that has to do with the best too. Also assuming that means I'm getting a little bit more feeling back but hhhhh being numb is weird and I don't like it. Getting more used to that though. In other news the weird knot under my arm eases up a bit when I put it in hot water for a few minutes while I'm showering so I'm less worried about that now. Mom guesses it's an inflamed nerve. Off and on worried that I've fucked up my right side by having dad take the tube out without venting the damn thing correctly first, but damn if I'm not going to worry about SOMETHING anyway. The swelling has gone down quite a bit from what I can tell, anyway.
Starting tomorrow I can have the compression vest thing off for a few hours at a time (like between 6 and 9). And god it's so nice to be able to look down when I shower.

Post op day 9
Quite a bit more sore, most notably when I get up after sitting for a while or in the morning, and if I've missed when I'm supposed to take more Tylenol. Also random pains that aren't particularly bad and that kind of flash on and off and then go away, which I'm assuming is normal and a good sign for the feeling coming back. Not concerned about any fluid buildup in my right side, since that seems either to be no different or to have gone down a smidge. The swelling on that side where the tube was is also a little less swollen this evening, as is under my arm on my left side, so improvement, hooray!
Dec 28/post op day 11
Late on my T shot today by about six hours so I'll probably be fucked up at least moderately next weekend if I don't take it late again. Will consider the best time to do it with the coming semester too. Had to wait for the prescription to be filled today because since thanksgiving mines been crystallized and i haven't been able to get it to dissolve again completely. Had a hard time getting a hold of the doctor and then she didn't want to give me a refill because I was overdue to come in, which I told her I would be, because I had exams and then surgery and there s no way in hell I was trying to drive to dc not knowing what state is be in during recovery. But anyway, got it now, the T is good so I won't have to guess about how much extra to take to balance out the screwy concentration. Just sad the bottle is brown because it's harder to check for the color and all.
In other news, washed the compression vest yesterday so it was off for about an hour, maybe a bit more, and it was actually pretty uncomfortable. In both senses. I think it made my back hurt to have it off because I was sitting oddly though, because I'm definitely not used to being flat, so I started hunching my shoulders again. Going to take a while to get used to being comfortable with just a shirt on and nothing that resembles binding.
But! Today I can raise my right arm all the way without too much pain, just have to do it slowly, and I haven't taken Tylenol for 12 hours! I'm doing fine and don't think I'm going to take any tonight, though I might after I wake up since I tend to be most sore then. Even managed to put in a shirt that wasn't a button up to go to the pharmacy, and I'm pretty pleased! Other than that someone of sharp spasms of pain on my left side where there s like a little hard knot on the side of my ribs, but nothing that concerned me much or required medicine to deal with, and I'm keeping an eye on the knot. Post op appointment in the 3rd so I can ask about it then, assuming it stays the same and I don't need to ask sooner.
The swelling in my right side seems generally better, though there s a definite intention where the foam was because I didn't bother to add a gauze cushion last night (dingus. I'll fix it after I shower and hopefully it'll be fine)
