I’d like to add this photo I took last night in Victoria of the statue of Captain Cook. Though I myself am not indigenous, I 100% agree that these murderers, kidnappers and rapists shouldn’t have huge statues and plaques that decorate them and say how “great” they were.

I had seen the first picture of the church, but not the second.
I went to a “Cancel Canada Day” event and burst into tears - not because I was surprised to learn of the unmarked graves (survivors told us they were there. Our government pushed it aside, and we let them), but because seeing all the people gathered in mourning drove it home: They. Were. Children.
This is my country’s legacy - and it’s not history. The last schools closed during my lifetime. My Father went to school with students who lived at the local residential school, after it was changed to a boarding house (read: holding centre) for indigenous youth who went to local schools.
They were all children, injured, abused, and killed in my country’s attempt to erase them. I want the world to see this and hold the state accountable to *active* reconciliation> I mean we could at least truly adopt UNDRIP in action instead of words for god’s sake.

As you may or may not know, indie projects have a hard time making it to theaters. Usually, the only exception is someone already in Hollywood bought the rights. Of course, this isn't 100% always the case.
The Last Act, and The Backrooms are both indie projects that started out on YouTube. If these movies do well, it could open up a whole new world for indie creators and small production companies. If you care about indie projects, and if you have anything to spare, I strongly encourage you to buy tickets! You don't even have to go if you're really not into it, you don't have to like it, or the fans. Your support would still mean so much to so many! With TADC hitting the theaters the day after tomorrow, I finished my Bubble in the knick of time! It didn't occur to me until way too late to try to dress up, so carrying a Bubble pencil holder to the theater is just gonna have to work lol.
He's 3D printed, then I applied masking tape to making painting easier (acrylic paint). Pic #3 looks like Babadook Bubble lol.
After painting him, I had to do the UV gel. That was by far the most annoying part since it had to be done in sections that took 5 minutes each. But it was worth it because now he's super shiny and the paint won't chip off. Yayyyy

I’ve seen sooo many commercials for eczema medicine, and.... They say it hurts of course, but they don't go into detail about it.
Well... I had a weird rash on my finger, and the doctor said it's eczema. Greeeeaaat lmao more issues to deal with 😅🤣
This pain is WEIRD guys. Firstly, the eczema only appears on my fingers. How convenient lmao. The pain though... It feels like it goes so deep. Somehow a single itchy bump makes your entire finger feel like it's rotting from the inside out. It's sooo freaking bad, I almost can't believe I've never heard people talk about their eczema pain.
