In my silliest delusions Nicky Hemmick is a normal, very lonely college student and he doesn’t have any friends really so he goes out and buys two bunnies to keep in his dorm (#it’s a secret, don’t tell the dean) and he uses the bit of money his parents gave him for ‘books’ to make them both very nice enclosures but the tiny yellow ish bunnies end up crying any time they’re separated so Nicky ends up having to put them in the same cage where they cuddle and snuggle and don’t cry anymore because they have their brother back and it’s really cute and Nicky of course wants to see about just getting a bigger enclosure for them to share instead of the two smaller ones so he goes back to the pet store and meets #his future husband Erik Klose who is the sweetest pet shop worker and has the prettiest eyes and nicest smile and Nicky starts ‘inviting him over to see the two lil bunny twinyards’ and over time Nicky gains not just two new lil friends who keep him company all the time but also this precious guy who he most def has a crush on & suddenly his lonely days aren’t so lonely anymore and it’s so sweet and cute and perfect siiiiighhhh

"You look awful." "It'll fade," Neil said. "Most of it, anyway. Don't worry about it." Nicky's fingers tightened a fraction. "Don't you dare tell me you're fine. I can't hear that from you today, okay?”

no please, keep talking about what a heartless, no real emotion, shallow man Nicky is. Please do continue on your rant about Nicky being an undeveloped character with no discernible personality or feelings of his own.

that's a man that is SO tired of loving people who keep getting hurt, but keeps doing it.

that's the man that moved across continents to take care of two microscopic blonde cunts he barely had a relation with just to keep them safe. that's the man that gave up the opportunity to go back to his life in germany so those said blondes would get to go to uni. that's the man that wasn't just trying to keep the twins alive, but help them Live. the man that put SO much effort into healing their relationship so they would always have each other even once Nicky left.
