Citrus harvesting has 7,000 jobs available to Americans. Out of that amount only 336 come in for the job and out of that only 5% of Americans stay which is about 16 people.

The job consists of picking oranges and carrying a sack that weighs between 80 to a 100 pounds. For each sack they get paid 95 cents. Let’s be honest most Americans would probably do that job for at least 30 dollars and that would mean orange juice would cost triple than what it does now. In 2011 Georgia and Alabama passed a law that spooked illegal immigrants away. Businesses lost billions in income and tax revenue. The jobs that undocumented workers left were never replaced by Americans, leaving crops to literally rot in the field. So someone please explain how they are lazy? Stealing Jobs from American? Living off of American tax payers money? When they don’t get anything back from the taxes they pay.
