The family of Success Kid, Sam Griner, was able to raise money for the father’s kidney transplant thanks to Sam’s internet popularity.
In 2015, Sam’s mother, Laney Griner, started a crowdfunding campaign to cover the costs of the transplant for his father, Justin Griner, who had been on dialysis for years due to kidney failure.
Thanks to donations, many of which were influenced by Sam’s meme fame, they were able to raise enough funds for the procedure.

RE: Induction Cookers need to use Good Quality Cookware
Never use a cheap Cooking Pot for your Induction Cooker like I did, always use the ones with the full Stainless Steel Bottom like the one on the LEFT.
The one on the RIGHT is supposed to be rated for use with Induction Cookers also, and it is, but it cooks very unevenly. Only certain Parts of the Pan was being heated, and it was being heated too quickly and too hot, leading to very uneven cooking, especially with Eggs.
I suspect this is because the Magnetic Parts of the Pan which the Induction Cooker heats up also is very uneven, resulting in cooking Problems.
The one on the LEFT cooks a bit less quickly but a lot more evenly, resulting in much better and easier cooking ...

I just couldn't help but reflect on how within my own Lifetime, I have witnessed Vietnam go from a Country where People desperately try to leave on Boats to cross the Sea to now the next Asian Tiger. They have already surpassed the Philippines in Terms of GDP per Capita, and will likely beat us into becoming the next Upper Middle Income Country (UMIC) of the World Bank.
Imagine that, from the 1970s to over fifty Years later. The Philippines, on the other Hand, is the only founding Member of ASEAN not yet an UMIC. This just goes to show how deep a Sh*t we have been now for such a long time ... SMH ...

I just said my proper "Goodbye" to the McDonald's Apple Pie, which McDonald's Philippines said they will stop selling on June 30, 2026.
Like always I thought it doesn't really taste that great, and it is served too hot with filling tending to burn your Mouth and Tongue. And it tastes worse if served cold.
Plus the Liquid Part of the Filling tends to get everywhere and make a mess. So I guess I won't miss it that much ..
McDonald's Philippines just announced that they are stopping the sale of Apple Pies soon in about a Week's time, and is encouraging Everyone to make their proper "Goodbyes" to it.
