I'm finally back and didn't expect to be covering cartoons in addition to video games. This time I'm revisiting a childhood favorite of mine Codename Kids Next Door and the licensed video games released along side it.

I've said for a long time Pokemon makes too much money to innovate. Pokemon Legends Arceus proved me wrong.
It was quite a surprise for me that Indika became one of the best narrative games of last year. Even being nominated for Games for Impact. It was a joy to play and create a video dissecting its message.
I'm taking a look at the very first Super Mario RPG originally released in 1996, remade for the Nintendo Switch!
This video took a lot of work, but I was determined to cover one of the best survival horror games I’ve played in years. Full video over on Youtube.

Putting a spotlight on a small indie title that really surprised me. Pseudoregalia combines platforming with a Metroidvania that oozes atmosphere. It had a unique time in development and I had a lot of fun learning about it.
Music and games have been intertwined since the beginning. Sometimes that relationship can result in something more. In this video I'll explore the legacy of Rez, Synesthesia, and the talented minds behind this unique philosophy.

The next video is a big one and it's well under way. Until then play the best 3D Sonic game I've ever played. Play Spark the Electric Jester 3. Here is just one reason why the game is that good.
After playing 999 and VLR it's finally time for me to finish the Zero Escape Trilogy with Zero Time Dilemma. Trapped in the life or death Decision Game characters both new and old must discover Zero II's identity and escape a bomb shelter by solving escape room and solving the narrative itself.
Imagine playing a game and having your actions cross over into another world. Can you overcome the obstacles in your way to help a mysterious girl home? Join me as I take a look at Beyond the Labyrinth, a creative 3DS hidden gem never brought to the West.
That’s 5 videos and 4 shorts for 2023! Really taking a stride with what I’ve been able to make! I finally feel confident with all I’ve learned with editing, voice over, and my writing. I’m glad my practice has paid off and I’m looking forward to creating more videos next year and for many more years to come!

9 Years of Shadows finds an interesting way to innovate on health that solves some of the problems other games in the genre might face.
Dark Cloud is a cool cult classic I've misunderstood for the longest time. Now I've finally gotten a chance to play through it and can appreciate just how ambitious it was at the time to combine two very different types of gameplay into one novel gameplay experience.

Hellblade Senua's Sacrifice uses unique audio and visual effects to present a positive and accurate representation of psychosis.
This is by far the longest a video has taken to make. I'm relieved it's finally done! Game worlds are getting larger and larger without always giving players the tools to keep up. This video is about making that process of going from point A to B fun!

Voice of Cards takes all the things you've seen before and gives it a new coat of paint, making it feel fresh again. https://www.youtube.com/shorts/Al8EWhBf7xA
25 years later and the gaming landscape looks very different. Especially with all of the successful main series and spin off Shin Megami Tensei games released over the years. Sadly Soul Hackers 2 seems to be a victim of comparison in a post Persona 5 world.
