I remembered a quote that I never gave much thought. It’s from the movie lion king lol.

“When the world turns its back on you, you turn your back on the world.”

I don’t think it is wrong to go inward. Care for yourself. Make you better then everyone. Worth abandoning? They won’t be worth my time.

Make YOU what they lost. Abandoning YOU was their mistake. YOU will be amazing with or without them.

Do the right thing, for the wrong reason. That’s okay. It sucks to be abandoned. We’re hard to deal with, but we’re no less amazing. We will strive and strive to be so great, maybe we were worth the trouble all along.
